A red-haired Dwarven woman enters the bar, resplendent in new and burnished armor. Though she seems dour, those who have met Garnet Sharnhearth before recognize that in fact she appears less grim than usual.

Seeing Heinrich already occupied in conversation, she throws him a polite nod and makes her way up to the bar to sit by Pari.

"Evening, Pari," she offers.

"Peri, Garnet, Come en zee here, bita!" calls Heinrich, "His party ist left him und needs more party!" He gestures toward the ales before him and the stranger, "Ist not goot to drink alone, eh? We are to be plain a game. We cut deck. Lowest caard pays for the round, Ja?" Ist goot!"

"Hoi, Garnett! Pull up a stool and have a drink."

The gnome waves and smiles at Heinrich, but doesn't leave his stool.

[sblock=Scott DeWar]Pari's a little above the level for Mark's adventure (almost 3rd), and already committed to perrinmiller's upcoming one.[/sblock]

OOC: Yes, The Sword and the Fallen Angel is in final review, I expect GE to approve it within a few days. It will need at least four 2nd level characters and will likely level some of them up in game. I have 2 already lined up. I will take a maximum of 6 players if they are available, but definitely no 1st level characters, sorry.

Biaggio cuts and shows. "Ha! A beggar in red! Hard to get much lower than that." He calls for another round, sliding the necessary coin across the table.

"My line, Heinrick, is frogs. Hunt 'em. Trap 'em. Clean and dress, and sell the legs here in town. Every now and then, I'll get one of the giant ones. Meat is gamier, but the hide is tough." Biaggio plops one of his booted feet on top of the table. "See these? Frog hide. Made 'em myself."

The new round is delivered and the wench starts to sweep the coins up when Biaggio says, "Oh ho! Hold on, lass. Not that. That's not a coin."

The half-elf plucks a rough-edged oval of metal out of the coins, replacing it with a silver. Heinrick can see that the oval is some sort of small medallion.

"so tell me, ist ein Frosch in den Arsch wasserdicht??

He sees him pick up the oval medalliaon causing Heinrich to ask, "Vas ist dat?"

The Sword and the Fallen Angel - Recruitment

Jael Kedric is a man with a heavy heart, yet serve he must. The local church of Helerion in Venza must have assistance as his Eminence has said. So dressed in his clerical vestments of black robes with a white undergarment visible at the neck, the mature man makes his way through the city to find some daring folk that could aid their church.

The graying beard hides his expression some, but the worrying is still visible on his bald pate.

Pausing only briefly outside the Dunn Wright Inn, he wonders if this place will truly have the individuals capable of completing this quest he proposes. He has no illusions that some might balk at the danger and others would only assist for profit, I hope the gold we will offer will be enough.

The middle aged clergyman opens the door and walks into the crowded common room of this adventurer's hangout. Looking around, Jael is not sure how to proceed as he spies several people that look to be capable, but he is not sure how to approach them.

The priest weaves his way through the crowd and tries to determine who might be a veteran and who might be a novice. Making his way to the bar he feels the speculative eyes upon him and knows he must look out of place, but this is important and his God is with him. Stopping next Pari, he inquires of the bartender behind the counter, "Excuse me, might I have some simple read wine, please."

Paying for the drink, yet not really even sipping it, he looks around once again. Taking in the orange haired gnome that looks to be knowledgeable of such things, Jael asks,
"Pardon me, I am looking for someone capable of pointing out who in this place would be experienced in completing an important quest. Can you help, kind fellow?"

[sblock=OOC]Recruiting for a short adventure (approx. 5 encounters) for 4-6 characters of at least 2nd level. If the group works out, follow-on adventures will be possible. Those characters halfway to 3rd level will likely level-up in game. Posting frequency should be almost daily.

The IC thread is started with rules listed. Posting may begin once I have 4 players ready, but I will wait for more if eligible players need time to finish their current adventure. Those not in the Inn at the moment should PM me interest so I can plan accordingly.[/sblock]

"Thank you," offers Garnet, ordering an ale. She notices Tagaiwi lounging by the fire, the other patrons giving him a wide berth. "Your cat seems in good spirits," she offers.

OOC: Interested in having Garnet in The Sword and the Fallen Angel, please consider me to be applying for a slot.

"I am recently returned from a trouble in a Leuchtturm", with these two, pointing to garnet and pari, Un if das Kirche does not see my talents as heretical, i could be of assistance" A young human, un-armored and sporting only a light cross-bow. "I speak of the arcane arts, of course"
