[Tavern Thread] The Dunn Wright Inn

Quickly chugging his ale, Elessar stood up. "Alright, time to get some work done!" - he said, moving to the kitchen. "It's about time, cow!" - the raven responded, as the elf left the room towards the job proposition.

Falkner smirks for a moment before replying

"Didn't mean to put you on edge friend. I judge a man by where he's going,
not where he's been. Some of my best friends on the White Cloaks were from the planks."

He takes a sip of his ale before settling down on a stool and saying, almost with a whisper,

"...and I'm all for new beginnings."

[sblock=OOC] Ok so who is all still here and ready for an adventure?? It will be short and combat heavy (RP, possible three fights, and RP at the end). Mainly so if anyone wants to they can work any kinks out of their character.

I am truly lost as to who is still here and what their class/race is. :erm: [/sblock]

Fury, male human bravo

Fury shrugs and grins. "What can I say? The reaction when someone finds out I'm Planks-raised is usually quite different. If there were more White Cloaks like you, more men like you, the Planks bravos wouldn't have nearly so much to fight about."

"Frost" - Female Tiefling Barbarian

As she scans the room, Kalinn sees much that she likes. It seemed fortune had seen fit to lead her to a place full of those like herself . . . driven by fate or desire to seek a life of adventure.

Her gaze finds a table occupied by two rough and tumble sorts, as well as a slinky Elven girl down the bar a bit. Quickly coming to a decision, she snags Hafísbíta without apparent thought and slips down the bar a few places to light beside the Elf.

"So, where's a girl go in these parts to find a little adventure?" Quickly realizing that her words could be taken more than one way, she flicks a neatly trimmed fingernail on Hafísbíta's quillon to clarify her meaning.

The door rattles open once more and a huge man, only a touch shy of seven feet in height enters, ducking under the frame with practiced ease. His skin is pale enough to suggest he might be an albino, though this is denied by his pale blond hair and ice blue eyes. Other than a certain craggy regality his features are raptor-like and mean, a smile is hard to picture on those lips, but they fit the scowl they now wear all too well.

"That I Raynucio Vega, am reduced to this."
He mutters loudly, his voice crisply aristocratic, and thick with contempt. Throwing himself down into a chair - which creaks and groans in protest - he removes one of two great falchions from a scabbard upon his back and sets about honing its gleaming blade with a vigor.

The man is a walking arsenal, covered in gleaming metal from head to toe, blades about, even the swords scabbards bladed and razor sharp. Some few of the locals may recognize the giant - whose appearance is afterall distinct in the extreme - as Venza's former headsman, and the last of the noble Vega family, whose members had formerly been a perennial presence amongst the Scarlotti.

As she waits for service, Coreuth begins to tap her fingers rapidly, while her gaze lazily wanders about, up until a stranger sits next to her at the bar. As the stranger starts speaking to her, she looks over the sturdy white tiefling with a curious eye.

Coreuth shrugs. "A girl can't even seem to get a drink around here," she quips. She examines the stranger again. "You don't look like a city-woman. Where are you from?"

Falkner smirks and replies

"I always thought the best hero stories started with humble beginnings."

[Sblock=OOC] Falkner, lvl 1 Cavalier is ready for duty. Was going to try and get in on "A Soul Indiscretion" when it started up but if thats not gonna be for a bit then im down for whatever.[/Sblock]
