Hadarai looks down into his cup of wine, thoughtful. Then he answers as he raises it to the lips: I suppose for the same reason as you. To find a job. Then he drinks, slowly, and stays silent.

[sblock=ooc]not really. however, my warlord is made to enhance others' attacks, and let party members attack more(via commander's strike). So a melee character with a good basic attack would be ideal.[/sblock]

With a creak of the door and the heavy stomp of plate boots a large human walks into the tavern. He carries a large tower shield with the face of a horrible beast on his back and a large war hammer decorated with small silver owl on its sides. With a smile he nods at the small group of people in the tavern and approaches the bar, "Greetings and well met, I am Brenwar Holyshield. I am a humble servant of Palladys looking to do some good in this land," directed towards anyone who takes note. With that he takes a seat with a minimum of clanking from his plate armor and heavy iron shield.

I'm off to bed, but consider this a defender (back-up healer) reporting for duty. I look forward to gaming with you guys. Feel free to check out Brenwar in the signature.

Patronis looked the paladin up and down a moment drinking in his radiant 'goodness' and scoffed inwardly to himself a bit... if it was one thing he was not use to being around as of recently it was good people... though in his mind it was kind of nice not to have to flinch when someone got near him... damn the man that had tortured his new-found abilities in himself... yet he couldn't hate the man.. he did give him new purpose in life.... he shook his head softly to get the thoughts out of his mind for now and looked back at the paladin...

"One more is always welcome, means I won't have to be anywhere near the front lines"

Mr. Bricks nods a greeting to the Paladin then slyly looks from Brenwar to Patronis and back again, raises an eyebrow and thinks to himself "Hmm! Could be 'fun'."

Hmmm. A sneak thief, a devil bound, a holy warrior, and a tactician. A rather motley group but perhaps well suited. Although the general did stress the need for at least five. I hope for the sake of your pockets you find another companion before my patience or my taste for firewine runs out. And from what I've heard while the general spoke to our informant, I hope a master of the arcane arts is in your future, or a priest. Perhaps even both.

The dragonborn quickly gulps down the rest of his firewine, seeming to show little to no ill effects from what surely must be his 7th or 8th full glass. He signals the barkeep for another.

[sblock=ooc] I think you guys will be ok no matter who we get but a controller would be super handy. Like I said before I can even wait for as many as six people since I hate to leave people hanging. This party is almost ideal right now, like I said the only addition I would make is a controller, and maybe a cleric or a second striker. I may be incommunicado for a day or so but I dont think it'll happen unless I get stranded on my flight. [/sblock]

"I have heard paladins sometimes have that effect on conversations," Brenwar comments with a smile.

"I don't believe I would have a problem traveling with this company," he stops and glances at the warlock, "assuming no one has a problem with me." He continues, "However, I would be interested in knowing exactly what we would be doing for you my friend," directed at the dragonborn.
