[Tavern] Tower's Shard 2010

Tock starts to walk back with the beer, hears the request, and turns back to grab a second. He gets back to the table, placing the additional beer in front of Mal.

His face has an expression best described as pained as he anticipates what's coming.

Deimos Vrago, Tiefling Wizard (Mage)

"Nice to meet you Talos. As he said, I'm Deimos Vrago, pyromancer and enchanter my trade. Now I'm at least not the only one with horns in this tavern. I'm very interested to hear you. I like good music, but I was sadly never able to learn the ability to produce sound with magic alone." Deimos greets and encourages the minotaur.

Braddock starts at the sight of the minotaur.

"Oye, shave me beard and call me an elf. I tell ye, this place is never dull. Muzdum! Ye seen this! Now I wish the other minstrel Pis would have stayed around, had us a right good show!"

Muzdum makes a strong nod, his face is one big smile, as he rises a thumb up at Braddock.

It slowly dawns on Mal that Talos is actually going to play that bloody lute again. He drains the tankard of ale and stands for another just as Tock sets one down before him. Exhaling a sigh of relief, he starts on the second in a bit less of a panic. He leans over to Tock and says quietly, “We should pick up some tallow candles before we leave town. Y’know. In case we run into some sirens or the like…”

Tock sighs, and returns "I have heard sirens can be quite a problem around these parts."

 

[FourMonos]

Braddock can't help smiling, "Right. Now, well my curiosity is piqued! Come on ya big furry artist, play us a right good tune!"

 

[FourMonos]

Braddock notices a dwarf standing by the tavern door. When their eyes meet, the dwarf walks away.

"Ach, gentlemen, I have to excuse myself for a minute" Braddock stands, "I've been sitting and drinking ale for quite a bit now."

He stretches as he stands, then walks over and picks up his craghammer.

"I've got te' find a right proper place to relieve myself... I don't want to scare any elves, if ye get my meaning." Whistling happily, he walks out of the tavern.

I'll broker no arguement Audrey, it's back to Adar with you. I'm not watching as you sit bound and abused again.

Two Kalashtar enter the Shard in step, Veruza, Audrey, They say their names at the same time.

Fine, but you stay alert and safe.

The duo pauses near the door, continuing to stand, saying their good-bye. Audrey then exits, leaving Veruza standing alone for the moment.

The cleric in her white robes looks around as if waiting on somebody, the red trim of her robes swishing as she fidgets.

"Someone should probably tell Braddock at some point that Taverns come equipped with latrines these days... Poor man may be wandering for days if he doesn't know about indoor facilities."
