(OOC: Ah. Good. That is just what I thought, but I hadn't seen it referred to as 'The Duty' and had not read the intentions behind the act entirely accurately)
*The notes detail experimental results and variations performed, including the effects of intense magical rituals. All of them seem to be measuring energy from the Tower of Fire. Apparently this Ashna thinks that she is close to finding a way to tap into the Tower's energy to achieve ascension, similar to Tyndall's conjecture that she had labeled 'This could be important if true'. In experiments that probably skirt most people's lines of ethicality, she has managed to gain greater insight into the flow of the energy by imbuing fire elemental energy with sentience so that it can report the effects of certain perturbations before being torn apart by the primal forces of chaos. There are also, typical to Ashna's minor paranoia, detailed profiles on all of her servants, lest they turn against her. This includes both the usual mortal servants and the requisite fire elemental creatures that can survive the intense heat and act as messengers. Ashna is certain that not a single one could pose a credible threat, even if they ambushed her and got the drop on her.*

) when I read that bit, so I was a bit surprised you asked. Any hints about the layout or position of the structure? Anything about her elemental state that she did not find out on her own already? Can she identify the mephit thanks to her notes? What servant would be best equipped to send a message back to Rinaldo?)

At least according to the notes, there are no permanent teleport circles or the like. The experiments and rites are not labeled as such with requisite arcane prowess levels, since Future-Ashna could perform all of them, except for tasks that were simple enough to be delegated to minions. So there is no certainty either way as to whether an attempt to perform them would reveal her weaker stature)
