"They did approach the Crux. Hmm...that could be it. Although all of you approached the Crux and then came back, perhaps the momentary exposure to the Crux's raw energy caused a delayed destabilising reaction that eventually led to the memory loss issues many years in the future."

"I wonder if the others have been feeling the same thing? Who approached it after me?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I don't remember, but I think it was Vanitri," Laynie ponders, "But he's half the world away with the Freefolk. It would even take multiple Teleports to reach him."

"What about a sending to arrange a meeting place? or scrying and messages?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"We could try that. I need to rest to prepare any of those spells though," Laynie replies.

 

[Erekose13]

"I've got scrying and message prepared, though I should really have more than a single message ready. 25 words is not very much at this point. Tomorrow would be better. Oh hey did I mention that I've still got that bag of things we collected from Sin's lab? I know you probably already knew that and may have forgotten given how long its been for you. But to me they were right there when I came to."

"Ah yes. I do remember they decided to let you have all of it except the stuff that other people had taken earlier, something about a joke from when you were a grabby little girl who wanted everything? I seem to recall there were some pretty good items in there, all told."

"Very much so, including Sin's robe. Though it all needs to be repaired to remove the taint of chaos that pervaded that room."
