TCotM: Tenebrynn's Idylls

*As he closes in on the signal, he sees a vision of Vanitri and Elektra resting alone somewhere in the wilderness. Tenebrynn picks up snippets of conversation:*

"Let's go. I fear Laynie might be in danger as well," Vanitri says.

"Alright--we'll do our best!" Elektra replies.

In addition, the following spells have a 5% chance per caster level of operating through the sensor: detect chaos, detect evil, detect good, detect law, detect magic, and message.

*Trying again, Tenebrynn succeeds.*

(OOC: You can make it as quiet as you like, but the spell says even then they can read your lips. Vanitri replied by just talking, though, so it was readily hearable through the Scrying mirror--you're right)

"Oho, he thinks I'm Sin? Well that can certainly explain why he hasn't been visiting. He's right--I recognise where he is. I'm going to go surprise him and bring him back. You can watch--don't say anything, okay?"

After Laynie disappears, Tenebrynn turns back to his scrying mirror and sends another message, "Laynie is going to surprise you, be aware." Then he shuts it down and follows Laynie to see what she is up to.

*His Sending spell seems to have vanished without a trace. But he sees Laynie easily enough, as she is standing now in the scene depicted on the mirror. Vanitri seems to have his hand warily on his sword:*

"Well, well, Vanitri. We meet again."

"Greetings Sin. Enjoying the crux?"

"The Crux? I left that behind long ago, you simpering fool! But now, there is only one question, and the answer may save your miserable life--"

*Laynie charges and bullrushes him to the ground in a bear hug, laughing a rich velvety laugh that manages to avoid being a giggle. He could probably shove her off easily, but he doesn't*

"Why haven't you been to visit me lately, you rascal! Did you think I'm Sin? Does that mean you're having memory problems like Tenebrynn? Let me take you back home, you poor thing!"
