(which I'll assume is only Ashna at the moment).
(It certainly sounded to me like the others were there too until you brought up the possibility to speak with Laynie and have her pipe in. :p And Ashna is definitely not staying alone - that would defeat the stated purpose, which would be rather stupid.)

"Yes, but we have given it to Tenebrynn when you died and I brought you back for ressurection from Sin."
"I wasn't worried about that, you know that. Just musing about the complications. I think we should return to the other room now, though."

[SBLOCK=OOC]Like Ko told, I thought we were all in private until you brought Laynie back... suppose from now on, Rinaldo is in private with Ashnar and anyone else there.[/SBLOCK]

"Just a precision, as you might have lost some actions. I must tell all that is far beyond my skills and knowledge. Anyone have a suggestion to what to do about that?"

ooc: I'm confused too. From here on, I'll have Tenebrynn in private with the other two.

"I'm more than a little stumped on this as well. While I can sort of understand that only our consciousnesses have come forward in time. I have no clue how to get back." replies Tenebrynn.

ooc: hope that answers Rinaldo's question.

(Private, just to make sure)

"The items may be an important factor, though. While future-Tenebrynn might have only regathered them because he has them now, he may have also done so because he knows one of them to be the key.
Anyway, there is an important question that Rinaldo brought up, and which we may want to discuss beforehand - how should we act when we return? What should we do? Should we try our best to achieve this future? Or might we try to build a 'better' future? Can we even achieve this future when there is so much that is outside our control?
For practical purposes, it seems that it would be in our best interest to initially do what we know of this future, and at a later date get together and reexamine our situation. That way, we avoid an immediate paradox, as clearly our future selves did decide to act the way they did back when they were us, and we would cause a paradox here already if we decided now to not act like them, as we and this future would no longer have a shared past, meaning we shouldn't be here in the first place.

...I think. Temporal mechanics seem to be... weird, to say the least.
"

"If it was the case that our future selves were aware that our arrival was imminent, you'd think we'd have done something a little more apparent to prepare ourselves for this task. Say leaving a note or explanation of what to expect rather than just clues. Given that we are as confused as we are now, when we do eventually travel back I'd hope that we do something to prepare." says Tenebrynn.

ooc: nothing like pulling something from Bill and Ted when dealing with Time travel!

"I think they didn't leave notes because they didn't receive such notes, and leaving such notes would change their timeline. Recursive, but an explanation. When you came to, were you in a situation that could have went bad immediately? Rinaldo might have gotten affected in an important meeting where he needed his knowledge, for example. Or did you have some time to get accustomed to things and get people to help you?

Of course, I have to admit that, if my head wasn't already on fire, it would most certainly be now.
