I casually mentioned (well, according to my wife, endlessly babbled a stream of D&D stuff on the ride home from work but she heard this part loud and clear) Birthright 3e, and she was instantly interested. A friend sunk a ton of money into the setting when it first came out and we played it twice, and she's wanted to play that setting ever since. There may still be hope.
