Tech help? Windows 7 has logged me into a temporary profile, says mine is unavailable

It said my files are temporarily unavailable, and any changes I make will be undone when I log out of this profile.

It also said to look at the Event Log, and I'm seeing Error events 1530, 1508, 1502, 1515, and 1511. Then I tried logging off and logging back in, and they occurred again in the same order. Anyone have any inkling what's up and how I can fix this?

From a bit of noodling around online, it seems like maybe my computer did not properly log out of my profile. Or it might have deleted my profile. Now, my files are all there, and I can open them, but I'm worried if I try anything, something might get damaged.

Also, really the most annoying thing, is that when I hit the mouse4 button (normally it goes 'back' in a browser), Windows decides I'm 90 years old and pops open a magnifying pane. Bah!

I'm going to try shutting down and turning it back on. Maybe I'll be lucky.

we actually see that on our terminal servers now and then. I haven't had time to get it looked into, since it only happens to the technical staff (ironic, we fix our crap last).

Your profile directory and normal files are probably fine.

the registry hive for your user profile is more likely to be the problem. Windows can't load it. That's where your mouse preferences, etc would have been stored.
