Technomagic--Is there anybody out there...

I am new to this board and all of it's forums. I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong place, but looking over things a bit, it looked like House Rules was the best place to post my questions.

I am currently running a psuedo-post apacalyptic technomagical D&D game with a Warhammer 40k and Gamma World style twist. By technomagical, I do not mean that there is technology and their is magic, and the two co-exist, like in Star Wars or Shadowrun. I mean a world where all of the technology is somehow based on magical principles. There is no chemistry, just alchemy. There is no physics as such, just magic. An example of technomagic would be an internal combustion engine would never exist, instead the pistons and the like of an engine would be moved my some form of magic, like a telekinesis spell. Many of the basic weapons, armor, and items I got from the excellent books Arsenal and Factory from Perpetrated Press. Add in the fact that I have always been facinated with the Eldar of Warhammer 40k (Space Elves) and the wonderful artwork from the various Codexes, which fit very well in my initial concepts, as most of the war gear of the Eldar is technomagic at its base (or psychically sensitive in some manner, same difference in 40k-- Psychic = Magic). Lastly, I came into a bunch of the 3rd ed Oriental Adventures books, which filled in the last few gaps in my campaign concepts, including the Shadow, Taint, and various Samurai as Aspect warriors and Shugenja as Warlocks.

Sorry to be so long winded. Now to my main question. Is there anybody out there who has any sort of NON-D20 Modern technomagical articles, forums, and/or downloads that might be available on this and other sites?

Also, I would like to hear from anybody who is currently running a technomagical campaign of any sort, especially if they are using Arsenal/Factory books in their campaign, and any advice they might have.

Thanks again,

skippy

Not exactly technomagic, as it is clearly not magic nor science nor a melding of the two, but Chaositech by Monte Cook/Malhavok is an excelent book for a kind of magic+technology feel. If you don't want to use all of the negative effects on players such as mutations dropping it as a mechanic is easy. However, I think the book as a whole might fit into a postapocolyptic setting.

I believe some of the Warcraft books present the technomagic of the gnomes and goblins found in the computer game.

Or, depedning on the level you could try the Babylon 5 Technomage book that should be out now/soon.

Monsternomicon is the beast book for the Iron Kingdoms, the core books should be out soon. It presents some technomagical monsters that might fit your world.

To learn more about these, and other exciting titles, go over to the Review section and search for them.

iirc the Eborron(sp?) setting coming out soon from WotC will involve 'magitech' that might be something similiar to what you're looking for
