He's not a veru good reviewer if he can't set aside his perosnal tastes when reviewing.

A good reviewer make his personal tastes known. What you seem to be asking for is an overview - a rundown of a product's contents and nothing else - not a review. A review tells whether something is good or not. In this case, he felt the product was not good. That's what makes a review worthwhile.
