She deserves it.

More importantly, she's earned it

Absolutely deserving! I've seen some awesome stripper maulings, but hers was the best ever! An "I CAN'T stand up for awhile" ovation!

And though I didn't see the contest, and I'm sure there were other great costumes, there could not have been anything close to Xath's! Her S.O. misplaced his bank card and had no cash, but Xath had put pockets in the big, billowy sleeves of her costume and saved the day! Quality and detail are one thing, but thinking of the little things made her like a Swiss Army Knife of Awesomeness!

At my first GenCon two years ago I met Xath and declared her female in the opening moments of the Canadiana Suite. I also immediately observed that she is in fact gorgeous. By the end of the Con I was referring to her as "all that and a bag of dice".

My opinion of her has increased steadily ever since. Her amazingosity in virtually every respect borders on overwhelming and I sometimes find it hard to grasp that women like this actually exist (though really QueenD and Alenda are cut from the same cloth). It's not like you can swing a dead cat and hit a half dozen hot, friendly, fun, smart, talented chicks who like to game.

Any way you slice it I am sincerely happy to call her a friend and she is in every way deserving of having it be the Year of Xath.

Xath was very impressive this year. She worked really hard on her costume. She was working on it during my Paranoia musical game. She did a great job for the ENnies this year as well. You did great Gertie.
