Tell me about Hamunaptra

So, what's Hamunaptra like, from those who have it, and have had a chance to read through it. I'm a big fan of ancient Egypt, and have wondered why there haven't been settings based on it before....I can't honestly say whether I'll get a chance to use it in the near future if I *do* get it. So, I'm interested in knowing what it's like..

What's the magic like? The races? Is there a lot of detail on nations, NPCs, organizations, etc.? New monsters? Spells, items, classes, etc.?

Pretty much the same, but with clearer divides between types of catsers. All classes are either spontaneous or prepared, arcane or divine, to simplify overly. There is a lot of new flavor, but mechanically (from what I've read), it isn't all that different.
The races?
These I really liked. All take some basic D&D tropes (artistic, magical elves, craftsman dwarves, etc.) and present them logically in the setting. Great job done on these.

Only really one 'nation' but each region is in some ways independent. To the rest of your questions: yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

There aren't any totally new base classes, but almost every base class recieves some change, and there are a good nuimber of PrCs.
