How long has your group been playing together?

We have a rotating group. I'd say I've been running a continuous game, with players rotating in and out as they join, or move away, or get jobs on game night, since 2002. So, 6-7 years, with maybe a few months' break in-between.

What are the ages, genders, and professions of the people in your group?

Currently:
Male, 33, Reporting Analyst (me, the DM)

So I'm male, but the current group is otherwise 50-50 male/female. This is pretty normal for my group; at most I've had about a 60-40 male/female split over the past 3-4 years or so.

What edition are you playing?

Right now and since pretty much a week or two after it came out, 4e.

We have a game rotation, so this same group is also playing SWSE and WFRP2e.

My group currently consists of 3 of us we've been gaming together since the early nineties. The group was larger, but I moved across the country, and these two happened to be moving to the same place for their own reasons.

Currently playing 4e.

Three years.

There's nine of us. Ages range from 24 to 44. Professions vary; we have myself (stay at home dad and computer magazine columnist), my wife (US Army contractor), Scott (retail, ex USAF crypto/commo guy), Jason (retail/whatever's available/ex-Army Ranger served in Afghanistan), Dan (construction), Kamel (landscaping/whatever), Richard (CAD operator/ex US Army Airborne, fought on Grenada), Larry (...actually, unknown), Eric (computer programmer, remotes in to the game when the gods of computers are with us, wrote MECHWARRIOR II (and by extension all the expansions for it, and the first HEAVY GEAR computer game engine). Eight men, one woman.

We started out playing original DUNGEONS & DRAGONS exclusively and have switched to ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS exclusively.

We're a statistical abberation and therefore unimportant to your results, natch.

How long has your group been playing together?

In some form or another, we've been playing as a group since 1993. People have certainly come and gone, of course, but there's been at least one member that has been around since 1993.

What are the ages, genders, and professions of the people in your group?

Not too sure of everyone's age, but from mid-20s to early 40s. With the exception of my 12-year old daughter.

7 males, 5 females (though that's really two groups...). Professions run from Jr. High Student to cashier at a grocery store, to insurance adjustor (myself) to IT helpdesk. One of the female members of the group is my wife (the other is my daughter...and when my 6-year old gets a couple of more years under her belt, I'm sure she'll join our Saturday game..that's right, I grew my own gaming group)

Currently my Friday night online group is playing 4e, which we'll play until we do our twice-yearly game change in January, at which point we'll be playing Shadowrun 4th.

My monthly Saturday face-to-face group is playing 4e.
