True Strike can make a lot of low level creatures a lot better. Anything with improved grab, poison, etc becomes a force to be reckoned with.

I'll vote for them just because of the cool flavor, particularly as demonstrated in the Sepulchrave and Piratecat Story Hours. I'm actually working on a variant in my world using the mechanics and general theme of the alienist as a guide.

How effective are pseudonatural elementals?

Earth elementals, with their built-in Power Attack can make excellent use of the True Strike ability.
