Temple of Light: does radiant keyword apply to followup attacks?

At the WotC boards is a generall issue whether dealing typed damage also adds the damage type keyword and it's yet to be decided.

Heh, yeah, KEYWORD is a whole other argument. No way we're going to even come close to clearing that up. It is clear though from the ToL wording that whatever power triggers the radiant bonus damage is the one that is considered to be doing the damage. THAT as I see it should not be at issue. The attack may or may not gain the radiant keyword.

Personally I don't think PHB 55 is proscriptive either. I think it is descriptive. OTOH damage types fall into the section called "keywords", which kind of indicates that although they are a separate thing that the intent was that they act like other keywords and you would consider an added damage type to implicitly add that keyword.

Of course then one might ask why there is another explicit rule for weapons that add damage which states they add the keyword if it was already a general rule. There's really just no clarity to be had.
