Took me awhile to find this and I realized I initially had it misnamed. In honor of Gary, here is his favorite summer drink:

Zagyg's (Zagig's) Summer Cooler
1 tall:)10 ounce glass
fill glass one-quarter with ice, add
3:)oz. gin (vodka for a Zagig's Summer Cooler)
1 oz. triple sec
stir gently
fill remainder of glass with cold orange juice
garnish with a sprig of mint

I've got everything on hand to give that a try. I guess I know what I'm doing on Friday. :D

That's a good man! Thank you very much. I will stick to the bottle of sctoch that still resides in that dark corner of my room.

If you ever make it out to Utah, you'll have to stop by...I've got six or seven nice bottles of Scotch in my liquor cabinet, and I'm always looking for someone to share them with!

Sorry, Theroc. We are bad influences. If it makes you feel better, though, I heard from Tim Kask that Gygax and the original crew always mixed drink and play. You shouldn't drink alone. Get your buddies and drink in moderation when you play the game. It's called beer and pretzels gaming for a reason. DnD is a social game to spend time blowing off steam with close friends and family. Friends can help you get out of a funk. I'd advise having a beer, followed by a glass of water to help slow you down and to help keep you hydrated so you don't feel so dehydrated and out of it the next day. If it becomes an addiction you will need to fight it cold turkey.

Oh, I was with friends, Deuce. I wouldn't have had access to the alcohol in the first place without friends, I'm poor. :P

Unfortunately, no one I know locally knows the D&D rules really. I think one other person does. But as I am not good at explaining, it's a bit harder. Another one of my friends is playing a D&D based game on his PSP though, and is learning a bit of how the rules work from that.

So, Beer+D&D will have to wait. :P
