Terra Subterranea and The Caverns of Lost Time

Opale looks at the situation, seeing teh dragon still unarmed and out of reach of most people, she is tempted to try something against him, but the futur of the borther Grim doesn't well. She decide to help them the she can and quickly summon a huge fire elemental that appear next to Wendigo.

OOC: Sadly, it is only a Major Image, but as they are weak to Fire, I hope that will make him panic a bit. After all, there is thermal effect with that spell, he should feels the heat even if it doesn't harm him.

Michael reaches down and casts Enlarge Person on Hulgyr, giving him a +2 size bonus to Strength, a -2 penalty on Dex, a -1 to hit penalty for size, a 10 foot reach, and making all his weapons Large.

It also makes Hulgyr something like 12 feet tall, so he may grow out of the snow enclosing him.
If not, I think it makes Hulgyr 2400 pounds in weight, so Michael can't help him up now.

"Save the Grimms!" Michael shouts, and heads off with his move action to cover the casters.
That Wendigo is going to get over the joke soon....

(OOC: Enlarge Person has a 1 full round casting time (so it starts on Michael's turn this turn after the dragon and ends on the start of Michael's subsequent turn. It will require Hulgyr to do nothing for a round to receive it. If you'd like to retcon having moved not all the way to Hulgyr so Michael can be waiting for Hulgyr with the spell, that's fine

We're mainly waiting for Eternity though)

Choosing to abandon her plan to become an invisible pixie, Eternity instead manifests an energy adaptation (cold) to both prevent some further damage and to heal some of the devastating wounds she has taken.

ooc: just realized that the con loss that would result from becoming a pixie would almost kill her.

hp: 29/65, pp: 62/80

Zack was breathing heavily and he knew that it was pure adrenaline that kept him fighting. That only meant he needed to put even more effort into getting the wendigo either dead or running. With a bestial howl, he presses the attack.

OoC: No Power Attack, need the hits more than the damage right now. A lucky crit would be nice about now. I rechecked the Knockdown feat instead of working from memory (it's in the Divine section of the SRD), and it seems that it doesn't negate the need for a touch attack or the retaliation. However, it does activate on 10 damage, so Zack can try it on every hit.

HP 1/79 (2 rounds before Rage runs out, I believe)
AC 14, Touch 9, Flat-footed 14 (+5 Armor, +1 Dodge bonus from Haste, -2 Rage)
Fort +8 Ref +1 Will +2
Attack +15/+15/+10 (2d4+12/x4)
Str 22 (+6) Con 16 (+3), -2 on ability checks.

I think we'll do that.
If Michael can hunker for cover first, he'll do that.

To clarify: Michael will not move towards Hulgyr: he will stay where he is and begin casting enlarge person.
He hopes to get that cast on Hulgyr, who will then destroy the wendigo.
If not, he's gonna need to cast it on himself and die fighting the wendigo.

"Hurry up, Huglyr..." frets Michael under his breath.
It's not fair, but he has to stabilize the Grimms next round, so his schedule is pretty full. That's discounting the other Wendigo and the dragon.

ooc: that sounds like a better plan for Michael. He'd have quite a challange trying to stop raging Hulgyr from engaging and instead linger for a round while he gets buffed.

(OOC: Ah, but the beauty of the plan to tag Hulgyr is that you select your spell's target at the end of the spell, so Michael is starting to cast now, and when Hulgyr moves up to him, he can do a drive-by Enlarge Person (i.e. Michael starts casting, then Hulgyr moves up to Michael on his turn to get to the battle, then on Michael's next turn, he finishes).

@ Michael and The Brothers Grimm--taking a look at the average damage that everybody is swinging around in this fight, they won't need stabilising, they'll be conscious or dead. I despise the -10 rule for dead at high levels because the margin is not large enough, but I'm not allowed to use my houserules in LEW, so we'll have to deal with it, unfortunately. However, even the Wendigo can see they're almost dead, so it'll at least stop power attacking.)

*Eternity modifies her body to protect herself from cold, making a few minor repairs as she does so thanks to her amulet.*

*Worried that the dragon might swoop down and enter the melee, vengeful for being Enervated, Aya conjures up a multitude of illusionary duplicates of herself.*

*Eternity and Aya's worst fears are realised as the dragon glances at the Brothers Grimm, barely able to survive off to one side against the dragon and Michael and Hulgyr, too far away climbing the rubble to enter melee for a few rounds, and decides to attack the three casters. She isn't particularly interested in wasting her attack against an illusionary duplicate and for whatever reason she isn't impressed by Opale's 'conjured fire elemental', so she swoops down at Eternity to deliver a vicious bite. Aya's Enervation nearly leads the attack to miss, but the sheer overwhelming momentum of the charge allows the dragon to overpower Eternity's defenses and leave the Elan nearly-staggered.*

(OOC: It's a hit due to the Charge bonus with extremely above-average rolls for 29 Damage, but I presume that you will spend at least 1 PP to avoid the staggered condition by negating 2 or more damage)

*Michael begins casting a spell.*

*Hulgyr moves as fast as possible towards the fight. This brings him just barely past Michael, enough so that the Selan priest can reach him with his spell when it finishes. Hulgyr will be out of the rubble next round, and probably able to start bashing heads the round after that.*

(OOC: Brothers Grimm go here, just need Zack and Ducane, hanging on the edge of death by a thread.)

OoC: I posted Zack's action a touch higher. And also a note that currently Zack is going to die from losing his rage-HP (which, I believe, happens in two more rounds).
