Lastly, I guess I'd like to give a shout out to James, Jason, Todd, Mike and Scott of Fiery Dragon, Paladin and his wife (of Gamer's Bag fame--the best gaming bags around), Mike Mearls, Hal and Doug of Mystic Eye, everyone at Sword and Sorcery, Rob Lee, Ed Bourelle, Jeff Ibach, Erik Mona, Stefan at Dwarven Forge, everyone at the ENWorld Gathering at O'Rourkes (sorry we couldn't stay longer), the Codemonkeys, everyone at IronWind Metals, Carrie Reynolds (the absent Sean's sister), Stan! and the Game Mechanics, Bruce Cordell (who I finally got to actually spend some time with at a GenCon for once), Jeff Quick, Shaun and Miranda Horner, and all the other great people I got to meet and hang out with.

What a great GenCon.

As always Monte seeing you and Sue are one of my personal highlights at these cons, and now that we are able to work with you-big :D . In fact it was great (the response of people with AU and buying Siege) you and AU made our con. It was great seeing and working with FD and I look forward to working with Necromacer as well, we have all talked and are all on the same page.

So...
THANKS BACK Monte!

Gencon

Congrats on AU doing so well, Monte. I'm still going through my copy, but I love it so far (especially the magic system). We're going to try to hold you to that Ptolus supplement though... :D

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to play in the round you DMed. It was a blast. We are already in the building stage of a campaign for AU. Good stuff.

Thaumaturge.

Monte, it was a true joy finally meeting you and Sue (after many email correspondences back and forth through the years). Did Sue ever get her copy of Forged signed by Thomas?

Unfortunately, by the time I was able to get back over to your booth to buy AU, it had sold out a second time. So I have to say congrats once again on doing so well. I was equally pleased with the sales of my latest book, but it only sold just under half of what you sold (one can't compete with the likes of genius). ;)

I look forward to seeing you at Gen Con SoCal since it looks like I might indeed be going (unless you are coming to the Alliance Open House in September).

thanks so much for the donations to the party, and for coming (though i would expect it from a "close personal friend"TM ) it was great hanging with you and sue, and your generosity was impressive.

Well, meeting you and Sue was one of the highlights of the Con for me, Monte. I'm sorry that I gabbed on endlessly about how awesome you are, but what can I say, I am the ULTIMATE MONTE FANBOY (tm)! ;) I was torn that I was unable to make Mark's (Clay's) party on Sunday in hopes that I would get to party with you two (as well as the rest of my beloved EN Worlders) but my youngest lad turned 4 on Sunday and papa simply could not miss that! ;)

I look forward to seeing you both again in the future! It was truly a pleasure! :)

Also of note - I got the second copy of AU sold and when I got Monte to sign it I was so nervous at first meeting him that I handed him the book upside-down AND backwards! LOL! I am such a geek*! :p

* - I mean that in the best possible way, of course! ;)

SOLD OUT

Just and FYI:

My local gameshop tried to place my order for the products and was told they would have to put me on a waiting list... It seems they have already sold-out! WOW, great to see such a success in our industry!

Thanks for signing my book Monte :D

It was the first purchase I made. I literally threw my luggage in the room and ran to the dealers area to get it. I am only a few pages into it so far but I love everything I have read.
