On topic: I have no single favorite, though I do enjoy the yuan-ti abomination, the mounted paladin, and the behir.

I was pretty impressed with the Elminster mini. I have yet to see the Balor in flesh (er... plastic), though.

I normally don't like the 'character' type miniatures but mages have had a good run between Elminster, Mordikain, and the Archmage along with some others like the Earth Wu Jen style caster and others.

Well I like the Balor a lot but my favorite is the behir.
I have two of them and they are the center pieces of my mini collection.

Underdark: Ankheg is my fav, though i bought more winterwolves for orc mounts & because i am a Mononoke fan. In third place, with the about damn time & should have been the iconic bonus awards, the half orc paladin.

Angelfire: 1st place Tie. Hobgoblin Impaler / Chraal both awsome figs with issues with thier left hands. The hob can go from leather to full plate with just a brush of silver and takes to a mount so easily, you would think he was made for it. The chraal has solid stats skirmish wise and can stand in for numerous large figures in all sorts of RPGs. Third palce- Remaining Large uncommons.

Is the final chimera going to have that nice a paint job do you think? I havne't bought any of the recent sets so I'm not sure how much better the paint jobs have been.
