The 1-20th level modules from WotC

Okay, Ashardelon, the vampire, etc from the Sunless Citadel all come back at the end right?

I ran Sunless Citadel and Forge of Fury in Greyhawk, but now I started the series at Speaker in Dreams in Kalamar. Will this be a problem? How would you recommend laying out the groundwork? I don't own the next few modules yet, just Speaker in Dreams and Standing Stones.

I was thinking of using the Reality Wrinkle bookshop in Speaker in Dreams to have a book describing a group of creatures that came over from another world. I mean plane shift, etc are all possible solutions to how they started out in Greyhawk and ended up in Kalamar. Completely different PC's but OOC they'll wonder what's going on.

Should I explain a reason IC? Or just say that they shouldn't worry about it? Or give them all different names?

If they're playing the same characters, I would not give them all different names.

As for the other issue, an interesting reason why they switched planes might be fun. But it's not necessary. Especially if you're all having fun.

No, two seperate campaigns. I did the other one as a newbie DM and we restarted.

I suppose a plane shift gone wrong could have sent Ashardelon and Gulthias to Kalamar.
