"The Adventures of Indiana Jones" DVD boxed set

I guess all I'm saying is that if you asked me, "Do you want to pay $20.00 for Raiders on its own or $60.00 for all three?" I'd pick the first option.

I know it is not your point, but just get it at amazon.com or Circuit City/Best Buy for $45. Easier on the wallet. :)

I really liked all 3 and was surprised at all the venom spat at Temple of Doom. It is the weakest of the 3, but by no means a bad movie. That last 30+ minutes is some of the best action ever put to film. :)

Come on, John. You're talking about geeks, spewing venom is a favored past time.

Yes, indeed. I've noticed that people who are unhappy about something tend to be a lot more vocal than people who are satisfied with something.

Most people I know don't think Star Wars Episode 1 was a bad movie. Perhaps it wasn't as enjoyable as the others, but it's still not as horrible as some make it out to be. Yet, over four years after it was released, people still complain about it.

It is my firm belief that one of the largest reasons the internet has caught on the way it has is because it provides an outlet for people to complain about things they don't like. If you don't believe me, just go read some blogs or livejournals; I'm guessing that 80% or more of those were created so that people could rant. :D

It is not that 2 & 3 were bad, well Temple of Doom was, but I degress. I only like to own my favorite movies and I would rather pay $30 for one instead of $45 for three, knowing good & well I will never watch 2 and would watch 3 once every 10 years. In 10 years DVDs will be extinct or near extinct. I only want number one and will not buy the set.

I will ask for it as a present for Christmas, but I can rent Raiders all by itself.

Thank you. Temple of Doom is my 2nd Favorite after Raiders. I thought that Last Crusade was the weakest of the trilogy. My one real problem with it is that an otherwise decent tank chase at the end is ruined by exceptionally sloppy editing. When I notice that edits don't match then there's something really wrong...

I didn't mind that much, however it has been years since I have seen it so it may bother me the next time I see it. I actually liked 3 a little more than 2 but that changes all the time just like A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Great films, all.
