The Best level dip

Conjurer is also a nice one-level dip even for warrior types, for the Abrupt Jaunt ACF and access to (self-buff) spell trigger/completion items.
This. If you dip into 1 level of wizard with the Abrupt Jaunt alternative class build, and if your DM hasn't nerfed it, you can use an immediate action to teleport 10' multiple times a day. Jaunt away right as the bad guy swings, foiling his attack and delivering yourself to a superior location. Plus, you get wizard spells.

The teleport for the Abrupt Jaunt wizard has no text about limitations such as needing line of sight or anything else. Use it to get past a hopelessly locked door, get out of a grapple, or who knows what else.

Warlock. 1d6 ranged touch attack at-will and you only need one free hand to use it.

It isn't the attack that is an excellent use of that level dip (1d6 standard action is silly at mid->late levels), but the invocation you choose can be an amazing asset.
Breath Of Night (Fog Cloud at will), See The Unseen (See Invisibility and Darkvision at will), Spiderwalk (Spiderclimb at will), Entropic Warding (Entropic Warding, Pass Without Trace, and cannot be tracked by Scent at will), Miasmic Cloud (Obscuring Mist with fatigue element at will)... these are the real gems of the 1 level Warlock dip.

Yes, I know you can only choose one (and that is a difficult choice to make), but it is clear that the 1d6 ranged tough attack is downright horrible in comparison to the utility.

As a combat option that 1d6, even as a ranged touch, loses its lustre quickly. It's not how often you can do a thing, it's how good that thing is to begin with.
If the Barbarian dip gives you the ability to full attack on a charge, for a three digit number of damage, or the Conjurer's Abrupt Jaunt lets you avoid Int bonus death situations per day, or the Cleric gives you two domains and turn undead to fuel Travel Devotion and Law Devotion... a d6 ranged touch at will can't compare. Coz most combats simply won't last long enough for those d6/round to do much.

yeh but the Warlock little di 6 is a great touch attack vessel to deliver damage, = scout skirmish, rogue/ninja SA, psionic shot chain...heres a thought, could arcane archer make use of ther EB and qualify for the arcane archer class?

No. Arcane Archer requires the ability to cast 1st level spells and that precludes Warlocks -- see pg 18 of Complete Arcane.

Sure, but what would be the point? All the AA abilities need arrows to work. Most importantly (probably), it's Imbue Arrow, not Imbue Whatever Ranged Attack.
