Blood and Brains, and Blood and Spooks... If you're looking for a little light-hearted ghoul and ghost bashing... by all means, pick these up... they're both great for it... Aside from that, they both have some pretty valuable bits to pick and choose from them.
Thanks for the shout out! :)

Modern Magic and The Modern Players Companion, both by The Game Mechanics are two outstanding supplements. MPC adds in a great system for speeding up equipment purchases at character creation. It also provides a nice assortment of reasonably balanced new feats and occupations.

Modern Magic provides the "Ritualist" class, which is very useful for low powered magic games.

Could you tell me a bit about the class? I'm interested in buying, but the reviews tell me next to nothing.

(For that matter, if someone could tell me a bit about Blood & Circuits, it would be nice, too.)

Modern Players Companion by the Game Mechanics. We refer to it in our group at least as often as we refer to d20 Modern itself, since it fills in all of the gaps (especially for low-combat characters).

I have the PDFs. I didn't really notice that difference though. What did I miss?

Blood and Circuits is a supplement mainly focused on the Smart Hero, though other classes can take advantage of the material. The AdCs are based around different concepts of enigneer/tinkerer types. For examples, one focuses on weaponry, another on armor and still another on vehicles. The equipment builds upon the gadget system presented in d20 Future and incorporates the craft point system presented in Unearthed Arcana. I think its a good book, especially for the equipment section. Nice design method on how to create custom stuff.

Thanks for the plug. I was hoping someone would mention us on this thread before I would have to give in to temptation and plug my own work :).

I would agree that there are probably quite few people who have it. It's certainly our worst selling product, and certainly not our worst product. I don't know what we did wrong with pluging it about, but it didn't get much attention on RPGNow.

As someone who had never looked at your product, even though I'd heard of it before, let me tell you why. As shallow as it sounds, when it comes to D20 Modern, the first thing I consider is a product's name. With all the core books having such explicit names, as well as products by companies like The Game Mechanics, or RPGObjects, the name is my first decision-making tool. Quite frankly, your product name gave me no clue what your product was, and the term martial avenger just didn't have a ring to it. That's it. Had it been called something different like Modern Hero's Sourcebook or almost anything else, I might have looked. As it is, I didn't. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I figured it would be better to explain why than to ignore the issue altogether.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that "Martial Avengers" sounds damn close to "Marital Avengers".

Just a thought. :)

Te me, Martial Avengers sounded like a superhero product.

RPGNow doesn't organize D20 Modern so well, IMO. Half the time I want to buy a product, I think it might be a DnD/Mutants and Mastermind-based product instead.
