5ever, or until 2024
Like I said in the other poll

A new year begins, and 3rd edition D&D comes close to its end.

The time for judgement has arrived. Over the coming days I will do a series of polls to see what was good, what was bad, and what was meh.

This one is WotC player supplements: complete books, splats, and other books for those players looking for an edge.

I turned out to not be a fan of most of that stuff.

What I liked:
- Stronghold Builder's Handbook (love it)
- Tome & Blood
- Song & Silence

Didn't like most of the 3.5 versions, though portions of Complete Warrior and Complete Arcane were adequate.

Arnwyn, pretty much the same reaction here. I was not a fan of most of the stuff. Actually, I have been extremely disappointed with the vast majority of WOTC's player supplements for 3.x. I think that I only gave two or three likes (including Complete Warrior and Heroes of Horror), a few mehs (one or two which may have been generous) and the rest were, surprise, dislikes.

10 to 3 for Complete Psionic Dislike to Like.

Why am I not surprised? :)

I did like Arcane for the Warlock, as well as Mage for Reserve feats. :)

I was actually much happier with the 3.5 Complete/Races series than I was with any of the 3.0 books. There were a few things I disliked in each of the 3.5 books, but overall the quality of the 3.5 books was much better IMO.

I'd agree. While I thought there was a fair amount of "blah" in the Complete series, there was nothing that compared to the utter crappy drek that was 3.0's Song & Silence. The Complete series also gave us cool stuff like the warlock, the scout, reserve feats, divine metamagic, sudden metamagic, skill tricks, lots of cool spells, etc.

I skipped voting on the 3.0 splats -- they were sort of meh for me. I thought DotF and S&S, which I have, were ok. Then I discovered that a lot of the nice bits (esp from S&S) were now in the 3.5 PHB.
