Personally, I find even the stinkiest stinker to be more inspiring to make something interesting from that most other monster books I’ve encountered (from WotC/TSR at least).

But anyway this thread is not about arguing the merits of these books (as I suggested in the OP) but just about sharing what we do use. (Or at least what I use, even if no one else participated )

I didn't mean it as a challenge to your opinion. I just thought your opinion was interesting considering my own opinions on it. It makes me want to open up the FF and thumb through it.
