The Captain's Caper! (Dunamin judging)

"As long as the coins keep flowing, I have plenty of patience," Hrav tells the captain. Of course, he may have a meeting with the crew to discuss the issue later...

Quagmire lets out an angry growl. "Thinks he's got us over a barrel, does he? Demandin' favors while holdin' out on his payments. I bet if Redblade were here he'd have that dwarf shoppin' fer a new set o' unstained britches and beggin' him to take an extra ten percent, not askin' fer favors. Pah! Tied up in a construction project, is he? I've got some rope, let's see how tied up he really is."

Capt'n. Says Alexander with a serious face, looking straight into Azrael's eyes, It is assumed that those 100 gps are coming to us together with their fifties little friends for the "favour", right?

Brudd watches Quagmire's threat enviously, he's never been good at intimidating people, being too inclined to laugh. Usually he just uses awkward facts, such as if we don't make a deal I'm going to shove a bastard sword up your arse, as negotiation points.

Listening to the Dwarf's proposal Brudd shrugs,

"Well killin' the Dwarf'd be more trouble than its worth, might get us on the wrong side of the Merchants if we make it too obvious. So I suppose he's got us, dependin' on how inconvenient his task is. So lets find out what we want he wants us doin' and we can always amend our strategy as needed."

Girth, finished now with dust collecting, is standing nearby listening to the conversation. Thinking he has understood what's been going on he swaggers back to the dwarf, stares into his eyes and points two fingers at his chest.

"My friends with you are not happy, sir dwarf. Perhaps it behooves me to send you to your illustrious ancestors to visit. Or perhaps gold of a higher quantity would suffice? "

"My task is simple, really. Just a simple retrieval. Go to the Isle of Opposition and meet with a Dragonborn there. Get from her the Honor Blade which she owes me and bring it back here. Then I'll get you the gems to take to Redblade. And my offer is final: 100 gold for the Captain, and 50 gold for each of you." the dwarf finishes with his massive arms crossed over his barrel-chest.

"Well m'boys, if yer in then follow along, and if yer out then find another way home I guess. I'm off ta fetch a sword it sounds like. I'll be back ya blasted dwarf." The Captain growls as he turns and stalks back toward the ship.

Brudd snorts ambiguosly and follows the Captain. It doesn't sound like and overly strenuous task, and to the Minotaur the good Captain's wealth increasing is a good thing.

"Seems like easy work fer good pay te me, what was that Dragonborn's name again?"

"I'm beginning to think we're the only blokes in the Proximate Isles who don't owe somebody somethin'," Hrav tells his companions.
