The Chicken Are Restless...

Jürgen Hubert

First Post
For an upcoming adventure, I need game stats for chicken, pigs, cows, and other assorted farm animals.

I could probably work them out by myself, but since I am lazy, I wanted to ask if anyone has done any work in that direction...

Go to www.fierydragon.com and download "Unfamiliar Familiars", the web-enhancement for Counter Collection 5: Summoned Creatures.

There you'll find stats for wild rooster, bighorn sheep, wildcat, otter, ostrich, squirrel, among others.

One of our former players (he's now been transferred) is a former state game warden and now works for U.S.Fish and Wildlife service. In his time on the two jobs he's been involved in three scuffles with bears not as tranqued as they should have been, a not as dead as thought mountain lion, an onerous muskrat, a beaver, and several other small animals. His response was to develop a P***** off template and insist attitude was as if not more important than size.

Thanks! Now my Night of the Alchemical Zombie Chicken can begin...

I was once savaged by a squirrel.

Attitude is one element that D&D hasn't covered very well yet. It's a little hard to believe every bad squirrel in the world has a level or two in Barbarian.

Just give them Weapon Focus (bite), charge bonuses, and let them do a minimum of 1 point of damage with each attack - that should cover it nicely.
