I haven't read the entire thread yet, so forgive if I am being redundant.

For the sky-is-falling types, if you are worried about what is not yet in the D&D Compendium, you should read the news release Wizards also put out today:

Wow. They really didn't try very hard when they designed the interface. It looks like they threw it together in about an hour. It looks like they hired a guy who had absolutely no interest in the actual tool and just wanted his paycheck. Honestly, I've seen better design and usability out of amateurs.

Hardly suprising. I couldn't even register for access to Dragon articles, etc (DND Insider?) using Firefox, had to dust off IE. That's Web Dev 101 stuff.

Well, it's about what I expected. They traded functionality for protecting their precious rules text, 'cause they want you to buy the books. Understandable, I suppose. Really cuts back on usefulness though.

Upcoming Additions and Modifications

As excited as we are to preview the D&D Compendium, we’re ecstatic about some of its upcoming features:

Browse All: The function we plan on introducing the soonest is the ability to “Browse All” within a category (races, classes, feats, powers, etc.). Using the “Browse All” functionality returns all the items in a given category, without the need for any keyword entered in the text search. “Browse All” represents a middle step to help bridge the time before all the filters for every category are in place.

Filters: Each category (races, classes, feats, powers, etc.) will have its own set of filters that allows you to fine-tune your searches. Want to know all the feats that your 11th-level dragonborn warlord is eligible for that has a Strength 15 prerequisite? The D&D Compendium will tell you. We’ll be unveiling these filters one category at a time, and we’re prepared to continue tweaking the capabilities and structures of the filters as subscribers tell us what’s working and what isn’t.

Future articles will provide more detail about how the filters are shaping up, and which category we’ll be adding filters to first.

I'm a helluva lot more concerned about date entry errors and the current "updates" not making it in.
Well, I hope we can expect them to be fixed....

In regards to the Warlock Pact Boons, it seems like 'class features' had to be fitted into the same format as "powers". The "powers" data piece has a necessary column, "Action Type". Data Entry person has to fill something in. Oops. That's my guess.

Check what javascript and cookie settings you have. I'm on 2.0.0.14 and had no issues. (Are you on 3?)

Ok, more observations.
But there are apparently going to be some new Warlord builds such as:
BRAVURA WARLORD
RESOURCEFUL WARLORD - this one actually has powers and everything, but if I do a search for Resourceful Presence, to see if any warlord powers are affected by it, the search comes up dry.

Rogue builds:
RUTHLESS THUG - gets Thug weapon talent (replaces rogue weapon talent), but we don't know what it does. A new feat, at will power, encounter power, and daily power are mentioned.
THIEF-ACROBAT

Hmmmm new builds for martial characters eh? I wonder if there is a martial power handbook round the corner?

At my game table, when we need to look up a rule, we use the SRD. 1 minute tops, and we have the rule explained. Much faster than finding it in a book.

BUT THERE ARE NO RULES IN THIS!

Looks like pirated material is the way of the future. And I was willing to pay for the DDI before this. Lets see if the rest of it is as crippled. Particularly worried there will be no good way to add house rules to the character generator.

Come off the horse and read the DDI news. This is an early alpha.

Everything on WotC's page works just fine with both Firefox v2.x, v3.x and IE on the 5-6 computers that I use to access the site. Maybe it is just you. Actually, considering your post, it probably is.

I can add Safari to the list for the general stuff, but I haven't tried the Compendium yet with my MacBook.
