No plans to yet, like most books. But I would not be averse to getting it as a christmas present.
The last WotC book I bought was Magic of Faerun. I work off the 3.5 srd for my current campaign and writing needs. It would be nice to see the crunchy parts eventually end up in the srd, but I would not count on it.
I'll probably get it, just because I get practically everything. If nothing else, I'm hoping the swashbuckler and hexblade are well done. The light fighter and fighting mage are two common character types that just haven't been handled all that well so far, at least as core classes.
I'm going to start waiting on books to appear on ebay. I've found that if you wait for 6 months or more after a new book is released you can usually find it for a really good price. Take Dragonlance D20 for example, a $40.00 book you can now get for $20.00 on ebay plus a few $$ shipping. I saw Underdark going for under $18.00 and that was just out last month.
Usually when a new book comes out everyone (or most everyone) wants to get the new "toy" on the block, 6 months later there is a new "toy" to get and people are forgetting about the "toy" that came out 6 months (or so) before. It happens all the time. Patience is a virtue...and it can save you money.
