Currently, however, the amulet has a chance to make its own decision (that Fireball you wanted to use to finish the enemy? Oops, centred on you instead!). If you only use Personal Spells (False Life is a good option there too), you can avoid this fate)

Yes, I agreed with your sentnimate. I don't know if I talked Laynie into it. I tried and got no responce.

and 1/25th is raw cost, 1/250th is the repair cost, usually it's 5 GP per XP expended for spells, so that was the pricing I was talking about as payment based off what RA said.

Anyway, finance plan and crafting plan for Tenebrynn and me: I get the nexus fixed, purchase a scroll of secret page and erase (reason later if it isn't immediately obvious), scribe secret page into my spellbook, and craft my blessed book. Then I scribe all spells, including erase, into the blessed book (yay for freedom from the 100 gp/page cost). Tenebrynn can then borrow either my old spellbook or my blessed book to prepare the spell for his bookcrafting (he can't really fail the Spellcraft check). I erase the sparkstrike from my old spellbook, so I can safely sell it.
Tenebrynn does not need to purchase scrolls of dimension door or secret page, which he can copy from me (or, if he prepared dimension door three times, from his memory in that case). If Tenebrynn purchases a fox's cunning then, they can craft a headband of intellect then, and Ashnar has enough resources to research two or three spells on his own (perhaps more if Tenebrynn is capable/willing to help). That should work out something like this:

Vanitri would be willing to help if it means you'd perhaps help him with an item (He'd love to get the enhancement bonus on his bracelets to +4) as well as helping with removing the curse. I'm guessing you can't help with the weapon, and he'll just have to pay for that, and we've already discussed the ring.

We'll need to figure out step two before the profit.

Once the level-up is approved, Ashnar'll have 10530 craft points to spare. At most, this'll go down to 7880 craft when those projects are done. The scrolls Ashnar might want to create to sell to Rinaldo's shop won't impact that too much. He'll also have 1899 "spare" XP, which'll go down to about 1199 (lower with the potential scrolls), so he can help with some of the wild items.

Tenebrynn will need to borrow Ashnar's ability to contribute Secret Page to the construction of his Blessed Book. I'd even foot you half the cost of the scroll/scribing too. Once we have all our own spellbooks scribed into the new ones, I'd like to peruse Ashnar's for spells to exchange if he is open to that (other than his private ones).

With regards to fox's cunning, yup he'll be buying it and can work with Ashnar to create the headband. For spell research, as long as Tenebrynn can have copies of spells (and he'll agree not to share them) then he'd help.

(OOC: I don't know what the RAW is, but if I was the only GM, I at least would not give a single penny for the pages scribed with all the cantrips, since all Wizards start with a spellbook containing those for free, so they can't be particularly valuable (IOW--who would buy them?).

And in a terribly unrelated aside, I should mention that casting a spell from the nexus (whether or not you use the Still Spell) counts as using a Metamagic Rod for purposes of 'you can't use more than one metamagic rod on a single spell')

Erekose: Works for me (though Ashnar'd like a chance to scribe fox's cunning as well). Depending on the spells researched, there may be some you'd not need to keep private, though probably only the athleticate augmentation qualifies currently.

Rystil: Silly as it is, it's on page 179: Selling a spellbook, 50 gold per filled page. No problem on the nexus, I figured that was the case. And while it isn't terribly important yet to fix the amulet, what's the cost to do so? Eventually, Ashnar'll want to do so.
