The Cursed Ones

His timing is impeccable, Fez arrives as most of you are pushing away from the table with full stomachs. He comes in and climbs up on to the table and looks to each of you.

"Well I am sure that most of you are wondering why I need your help if I am this well off. And I am also sure that those who are not wondering the first are wondering what you have gotten yourselves into, as I have received another letter from Homeglen this morning I will tell you what you might expect once we are there." Fez pulls out a letter and begins reading it aloud.;

"Dear Uncle,
Two more students have gone missing this morning after they were talking about going after the others. I am not sure what has been happening Uncle but please hurry."

Fez puts the letter back up.

"Something is wrong in Homeglen and I need your help in finding out what it is. Any questions you have you may ask en route as i feel a need for speed is in order."

With that Fez walks outside looking as if expecting the group to follow. Once outside you all see 4 wagons that are being pulled by shadowy black phantasmal looking horses, 2 per wagon.

Fez climbs upon the first wagon and looks to the rest of you.

"Well?"

Justiel takes to the air. HIs broad wings taking him above the city streets and he circles around the wagons awaiting the others. Brightest Blessings! It's a wonderous day to fly! he yells.

Maur grabs his loaf of bread and butter and fills his flask with the gnome ale. He then walks outside and hops on the first wagon with Fez, he sits right next to him and continues to eat his bread.

"So my new friend, you do have more of this ale right?" Maur motions towards his flask.

After enjoying the lavish breakfast, Mirnax follows slowly behind the others. Once he enters out into the early morning sunlight he winces in pain and quickly runs into one of the wagons trying to get in as dark a corrner as possible.

Seres takes the reins of his horse from the stable boy who fetched him and a couple of fresh bags of fodder (ooc: subtracting a few SPs from his cash). After brushing some non-existant dust from his sleeve he mounts the horse and rides up to the Gnome. Frowning slightly he adresses the small wizard.
I believe we agreed on the prize for escorting you and your cargo to Homeglen. None of us has yet agreed to anything more than that. Once we get there we can discuss the terms for our continued employment. We will have plenty of time to get to know one-another better.

Cara exits the Inn and walks over to Sevawyn. After giving him the food that she put into her pouch at the breakfast table, she approaches Fez.
"I hope that we will not travel to fast as I do not want to leave Sevawyn behind. She then moves to the other wagon and after loading her lite backpack into one of the wagons, she climbs up onto it and dangles her legs over the back. Sevawyn lumbers over to stand behind the wagon as Lyektas takes to the air.

"EEEP Fez, can we get these carts a moving and maybe find a forest or hill or something to block that damn sun" Mirnx then ducks his head into his robes to further hide himself from the bright light.

Upon seeing that the current situation needed to change or lose the abilities of the druid, Fez calls to get another wagon so the druids companions can ride as well.

The five conestoga wagons head off to the south west at speeds approaching that of most winged birds.

Camp is made late in the day and dinner is served and for the first time you realize that it is just you and Fez no one else seems to have made the trip.
