As they enter the inn, Beamer says quietly to Azaroth, "Could you get us a room so the group can talk privately?" Beamer keeps his eye out for a dart board. He'd like to play a round given the chance. People always talk more freely when their mind is on something else.

Rose Marie follows along with the group, occasionally whispering quietly to Jasper to keep him calm among all the unusual smells. When the group arrives at the inn, she breaks off briefly to get Jasper taken care of before she joins everyone inside.

(ooc: Sheesh. Just now able to get here. :( )

*azatoth walks up to the inn keeper*

Hello good sir. My group and I are weary from our travels and was looking for a room for the night. Perhaps you could tell me what a good room will cost?

"A mug and water, good sir?" the barkeep asks Gur, making sure he understood correctly as he moves one piece on the board forwards, "would that be a mug of water? Or ale and water?" After that is cleared, he quickly serves the desired drink.

Beamer spots a dart board lying behind the bar, along with a few darts. Asking the barkeeper, he gives it to the halfling, pointing to a less crowded corner of the room. "There's good place where you shouldn't have to worry about people walking into your aim."

Rose gets a place for Jasper in the Scimitar's stable for 5 sp per day. The stable isn't very full, just a few horses.

To Azaroth, the barkeeper says "Rooms - depends on what kind. The big room, if you don't mind the company of several others, is 2 silver per head, and is right to your left, through that door and the one behind. The more luxurious rooms upstairs are 5 silver per head. Same door, but up the stairs." As he says that, he positions one of his figures so that two of his "flank" a grotesque-looking figure of his opponent. The barkeeper takes it away and says "Your hobgoblin's out, so you can put one of the others in, Janur." The other player promptly dose so.

Gur expands, "Well, I'm not fond of ale so much. I'm sure your ale is chock full of good minerals and all that, but my personal preference is for natural running water. It seems you can't get that in many towns unless they were built over a river or such. So, when that's not an option, I try to get whatever is as close as I can get. If you want me to pay for it like ale, I'm not complaining, I'm not trying to be cheap. Money doesn't mean much to me anyway. All that said, if you've got any mineral water, that would perhaps be a bit better. I would be much obliged with whatever your choices are."

Gur smirks... the bartenders tend to have the sort of attitude he likes about a man, unlike those weird hippy elfspeakers.

I see. Well let me confer with my group as to what they wish to do.

*azaroth asks the rest of the group which room they prefer*

Banion has faded into the background, trying to remain unnoticed and inconspicuous. He expresses no opinion on type of room, and shrugs if Azaroth catches his eye.

*azaroth turns to the bartender*

Well it seems the general opinion is for a Private room. Thank you.
