The Dance of Souls

"Hmm, I suspect that might come as a surprise to my employer. It doesn't sound like a piece of art..." the half-orc's voice trails off, "but anyway, we should get going. My employer is very interested in hearing from you."

Fourdrinker stands up, distributes his drinks among the patrons, who respond with cheers, and makes an inviting gesture towards the door.

Lead the way Mr. Fourdrinker. *when it appears that he is not watching Azatoth will do a quick look around to see if he can locate his comrades upon making eye contact he will nod in their general direction*

*As he is walking behind Fourdrinker Azatoth will casually look around to get a general idea of where he is going.*

ooc: Should I take it that Banions efforts are simply so time consuming that events are concluding before he is done? Is he in a position to observe yet?

(Sorry Patlin - you and Beamer entered a bit later, unobserved during the laugh riot of the patrons, and were in a position to observe the events.)

Fourdrinker leads Azaroth and Gur through the streets, and then preceeds to enter a small alley. So far, the area does not invoke the feeling that an art collector might live here.

Banion and Beamer follow in a save distance.

From the buildings around me can I get an idea of where we are at? Does any of it look familiar?

And what is Fourdrinker doing at the moment?

Does he look like he is looking around a bit more or even walking faster?

if neccessary I will make a spot check

no modifier.

After following Fourdrinker for a bit Azaroth will say,

Heh this seems like quite the odd area to have a gallery, tell me does your employer do well businesswise?

As the situation seems likely to become desperate, Banion will attempt to move in a bit closer. While he won't do anything that he believes will make his location obvious, he's willing to take some risk in order to be in position to help his companions.

Beamer continues to hang back even as Banion closes the distance between himself and Azaroth. He thinks, It's good for us to be closer, but I'm not nearly as stealthy as Banion. I'll hang back here.

None of the buildings seem familiar at first glance. Fourdrinker glances around seemingly at random, but you suspect he is on the lookout for likely hiding-places.

"Gallery...I wouldn't quite put it that way. But my employer certainly does well."

Banion:[sblock]You see two cloaked people coming out of a nearby door, and can dive out of sight just in time. These two certainly try to sneak after your companions and Fourdrinker, and don't seem in much of a hurry to catch up with the three. You couldn't see their faces.[/sblock]

[sblock]If I can do it in a subtle way, I try to signal beamer an point them out, perhaps providing a circumstance bonus on his spot roll. I'll follow the stealthed folk that seem to be following the others.[/sblock]
