The Dance of Souls

"What do they have to do to 'prove' themselves? Hide in a Keep? Or are they off on some grand adventure being defeated while outnumbering their opponents?"
"Big words, for a coward. I bet you wanted to run away when the Dreams started." She turns to Azaroth again "You think you know what I've only been fighting for? You know nothing about me. You think I told you grand secrets of the Talon? Go ahead, and show me what you learned from me." She smiles as if she is throughoutly enjoying the conversation.
"Depart? Well, maybe, if you guys are brave enough to send us southwards. Can't see blood, can you?"

"You are right Azaroth, I spoke out of turn. Please accept my apology." says Beamer with an incline of his head. He pointedly ignores Cado's comments.

Cado when I started talking with you I promised that we would let you go without harming you if you cooperated. You have been straight forward with me and I appreciate it. You have given me no reason to go back on our previous arrangement. Though my questions have been generic, basic information to you. It has helped fill in a couple of blanks that were present before. I feel I have very few further questions about the talon, but I shall get to those later I am more interested in learning about you at the moment.

As for knowing about you. I don't know very much at all about you. Perhaps my previous comment was poorly stated. Allow me to rephrase, Cado growing up you had experienced some rough times. From what you've told me so far your childhood didn't leave you with many good memories. What was it that kept you going when you were younger? What goals had you set for yourself? Was there any time when you were younger that you felt happy?

ooc: Knight when we first downed Cado I said I would remove her armor, and if she wasn't wearing clothes underneath I'd cover her up. Although It would seem odd if she wasn't, was she indeed wearing clothes beneath her armor?

Cado is wearing the typical woolen clothes worn underneath metal armor preventing the metal from directly touching and hurting the skin. It is not revealing, but if Azaroth is uncomfortable with that, there are blankets in the wagon.

"I do not remember allowing you to adress me with 'Cado', baldy. And what with this nonsense of happyness? Of course there're times I'm happy, but that's none of your business. Neither are my goals."

My mistake Cadoreysien, please accept my apologies. If you do not wish to go into the things that make you happy I won't force you to. Though I must say I am disappointed, Perhaps then it is time to conclude our conversation for now. I have only 2 more questions regarding this keep and then I will let you rest for the night.

My first question is this, exactly how far out does the keep's effect stretch? and what have you and your group done in the past to protect yourselves from its effects?

OOC: alright thanks knight. I won't remove her clothes. i just was wondering in the event we might need to watch her for concealed weapons. BUt I guess with her hands bound we don't need to worry.....much

"The effect... I think it's slowly changing over time... as if it is... breathing. Protecting ourself? I'll tell you what. Maliwan, he's an elf. Doesn't sleep like normal people. Thought he'd be safe from those dreams, as he doesn't sleep like normal people. The dreams got him as well. Food for thought. isn't it? Fact is, we bind up those not on watch. Can't go rampaging this way."

[sblock]You have a feeling there is something the Cado did not say. She isn't lying, but you feel there is something more.[/sblock]
