The Dance of Souls

Beamer nods at the warning regarding revealing the Talon. Strange organization. It is not news that their employers were not completely straight forward with them.

Cado said:
I figure they'll be almost as safe there as they are in the keep
So the pieces are in the Keep. That's half or perhaps more of the equation.

When Azaroth is finished with his questions, Beamer interjects, "How long have Turlach and Deleth been members of the Talon?" Beamer is not at all sure they are actually members of the Talon, but hopes to be able to tell from her reaction whether they are and whether she is telling the truth.

OOC: I was gone over the weekend and thought I would have a chance to check in. Thanks for handling the interrogations Xaov.
Oh, and I didn't necessary expect any scrolls from the wizard, but a guy can hope. :)

OOC: Well, I said Beamer would wait until Azaroth finished his questions. I meant to let the mood continue, but I didn't want to forget to ask the question. :)

"Smooth words, baldy. Are you in a romantic mood? If you really want to hear my sob story, it's the usual one about being the unwanted child of a careless couple, shoved away to the scum of Lathirn, where I roughed up those who came too close to me. The Talon offered a few interesting prospects, the least of which assured a permanent solution for every guy thinking that a petite girl like me is easy to grab. It pays to have friends capable to cover up murder."

"How long have Turlach and Deleth been members of the Talon?"
"You're awfully sure about that, shorty. Last I heard, they still need to fully prove themselves. If they have the dedication..."

Her story is similar to my own. No matter. She knows where our quarry hides and will tell us for sure as long as I keep her angry, which should be pretty easy. "What do they have to do to 'prove' themselves? Hide in a Keep? Or are they off on some grand adventure being defeated while outnumbering their opponents?"

How unfortunate that your childhood filled you with so much hate towards others that hate became all you ever knew. Did you not have anything you fought for that was more than self preservation?

*after Beamer's bit*

*Azaroth turns to beamer*

Beamer my good friend you act brashly, Cado is not our enemy by this fire. This night we might enjoy a conversation with an unfamiliar face. Yet you place our guest on the defensive. I am sure your motives have logic behind them. But please let it wait till morning before our guests depart.

OOC: I do not want nor expect you to remain silent while I go on this personal line of questioning Slag the same goes for you Patlin if either of you want to ask questions of Cado do so. and Just for the record I don't want to be thought of as trying to make myself the focus of this adventure. We are in this together as equals. I'll also try to wrap this personal questioning up so that we can move on.

OOC: Knight Just curious do you want to distribute XP for our battle? Or do you want to hold off on that.

OOC: No problem with the questioning. I think you've really given Azaroth a personality and I've enjoyed watching it come out. Continue the conversation as long as you want as far as I'm concerned. Beamer's take may be different, but if Azaroth wants to keep chatting with her for awhile, don't back down for metagame reasons. I'll wait for Knight to post Cado's response before Beamer responds in character.

ooc: thanks slag it helps me feel better to know you don't believe I am trying to steal the focus.

I appreciate the compliment about Aza's personality I've been trying to do that since the start. So its nice to know that its enjoyable
