The Defense of Grass River

Introduction
On the outskirts of the small farming community of Grass River, a ruthless army of goblins is forming. The goblin tribes in the area have never been a serious threat to the town, attacking each other more than anyone else. But now a number of tribes have united and several hobgoblins have been seen. The mayor led a diplomatic mission to negotiate for peace and became the goblin’s next meal. The town’s guards are too few and too inexperienced to repel the coming attack. It is up to a group of noble heroes to raise an army and lead them into battle. Will the heroes succeed in saving the Town of Grass River or will this be the first of many to fall in the horde’s path.

This is an adventure I put together when had too much time and not enough to do at work. Constructive feedback is welcome and I hope everyone enjoys it.

I love it, but its an adventure i could only run when one of our players isn't there, since he doesn't like this type of adventure, so i doubt that i can play test it, but like i said its the type of adventure i'd love to play.

Thank you for the comments.

The adventure is combat light and social interaction heavy. It specifically rewards planning and will generally kill anyone who goes after the direct approach. Personally, I like both types of play.

Same here. Ya know it's funny... I'm just about to start a campaign with a similar situation :D

I'll yoink it if I like it.

I think it would be interesting if the players stayed at the town as the Mayor or Sheriff, or both.

I just gave it the once over, and its looks pretty cool. I like the political aspects of gathering the militia together, though I find myself wondering what the modifier would be for the players getting a faction to join the horde and then obliterating the entire town would be. But I like the overall concept.
