The Defense of Grass River - A Free D20 Adventure

Great job, but I think I'd tweak it a bit so that it is good for a group of level 5s. Large Worgs and Greater Barghests, woot!
You could change the Goblins to Orcs also and give the Hobgoblin leaders a few class levels.

I just gave it the once over, and its looks pretty cool. I like the political aspects of gathering the militia together, though I find myself wondering what the modifier would be for the players getting a faction to join the horde and then obliterating the entire town would be. But I like the overall concept.
I love political games that have multiple factions all with their own agendas that intertwine with each other. The player’s actions ripple across the political landscape with unforeseen consequences, some good, some not so good.

This is an adventure I put together when had too much time and not enough to do at work. Constructive feedback is welcome and I hope everyone enjoys it.

Brandon :)
Nice.

I did a quick scan, and one thing I'm missing is how to handle the final combat. It seems it would be large, and the worksheets lead me to think you have a plan, I'm just not seeing it.

There's a table... depending on how many militia dudes you gather, the less REAL opponents are left to the players to handle.

Nope, I love Barghests too much. Some of the best masterminds and one of the greatest low level challenges.
I'd probably give a Bugbear 5 more humanoid dice and use him as the "heavy" instead of the hobgoblin.

Nice. I'm always a sucker for adventure modules. At first glance, this looks like fun -- almost like an abridged version of Red Hand of Doom. I'll might do a little adaptation of this for Iron Heroes, maybe run it at the next Chicago Gameday.

After a cursory review, I must say that it's a very well written event-based adventure. Politics and interracial relations isn't something that many adventures get into with much depth, and the tensions between the different factions is so real-life it could be an intense session!
