The Dragons are Coming

Very, very cool.

And I trust I was far from the only person giving some thought as to how to stat up the prehistoric, aquatic, and mountain dragons? :D

Many of the rationalizations (e.g., gut bacteria making hydrogen for flight and flame, etc.) were conjectures that we had made in junior high.

Somehow I doubt we were the only ones. :)

Edit: by the way, they made a pretty significant scientific flub. Their supposed 500 year old dragon corpse was said to still have a gas mixture "predominantly composed of hydrogen." Hydrogen permeates solid matter with extreme ease. There is no way it would have stuck around for 500 years.

It was good, would have like to see other animal actions that they used to justify their outcome, things like parrots that eat mud to counter toxics from plants, monkeys that do the same with charcoal (stealing it from man), magpies (sp) that use cigarettes to smoke parasites from their feathers. :D

I thought it was pretty well presented. I have decided, however, I don't think I'll ever eat at IHOP again, as the commercial with the guy rolling downstairs and then mumbling about stuffed crepes was aired so often I began screaming at the tv.
