The Dragon's Gate (M&M/Action!)

Wow i love the San Angelo books already. When can we see the MnM convertions come to print or pdf.

The Dragon's Gate should hit stores in early December. As for the rest of the books, there is no release date set yet. We're revising them for a 2nd Edition release, though we may release the 1st Edition of the first three books with M&M conversions as PDFs in the coming months.

The timeline for releases depends in part on demand. So tell your M&M buddies about the books. The more buzz that is generated and the more demand retailers become aware of, the faster we'll be putting the books out, to be sure!

Just a short update to let fans know that I've received the first batch of M&M Superlink stats for the book from Steve Kenson (M&M author). Just waiting on the second half from Mr. Sullivan (which are due by the end of the month), then we can get cranking and wrap up pre-production of the book! Woo hoo!

Sweet move, to get Steve Kenson onboard!

I'm looking forward to more dual-stat M&M Superlink/Action! products from GRG. Maybe you could do a pulp-style adventure book (a la Zorro) for M&M Superlink.

Thanks. I'm pretty stoked to have him aboard, as well.

It's a shame that we couldn't get New Century City published for San Angelo as we'd originally intended, but the manuscript still made one heck of a splash as Freedome City, raising consumer awareness of Steve's great writing talent!

If The Dragon's Gate does well, you can pretty much bet that we'll be doing more. We're currently planning to release the next few San Angelo books with multiple system stats, just like The Dragon's Gate.

It's certainly possible. I think it comes down to getting the right author for the job, however.

Really?

Maybe if you change it a bit, you could have a (sister?) city that contrasts Freedom City; a place filled with supervillains and her frightened oppressed citizens in need of heroes.

Can't do that, in terms of altering the manuscript. The publishing rights to it went to Green Ronin.

of course, that doesn't mean that we don't intend to still publish the New Century City source book one day. In fact I've spoken with Steve Kenson about it and he said he might be interested in writing it, depending on his schedule and such.

The concept is still on the drawing board and we still intend to publish NCC as our East Coast city source book. Fear not. ;)
