Kama'zer thinks hard as she walks beside Mri'Thas for a moment before responding. "My past is...a dangerous topic. If you insist, I will speak of it. But know that if it leads us to battling one another, I shall have to do so without mercy or hesitation. Is your desire to know my past worth that risk? If it is so, then ask once more and I shall speak of it." Kama'zer finishes while laying one hand upon the pommel of her sheathed sword to emphasize her point.

"... I see your point. I wont hesitate either if I have to end your life, I'll do it with the same determination as when I tried to save you from the wolves." Mri'thas eyes fix on the woman's swords for a moment. "Now speak."

"As you wish." Kama'zer says to Mri'Thas quietly. "My mother was a Githyanki warrior and my father was a Githzerai monk. When I was conceived, they left the land of Ea to find a place to raise me in peace." she stops there for a moment, gripping her sword handle tensly. From all she had been taught about her people, those two sentances should be enough for a death sentance from any other Gith. When the wizard doesn't explode into a killing frenzy she lets herself hope that she actually won't have to kill her teammate. "They taught me all they could till I lost them when I was ten years of age. Slavers killed them and added me to their collection of child and adult slaves. They underestimated the children though and made it easy for me to plan an escape. We got enough children free one night while most of them slept that we could free some adults and kill many of the slavers in their sleep. The freed adults helped to fight off the rest. I took this blade from the slavers leader and killed him with it myself. It has never left my side since that night. After that, I survived and traveled and learned what I could so as not to fail those I care about ever again."

Kama'zer looks intently at Mri'Thas before saying "And now I know something about you as well. For allowing me to speak beyond the first sentance or two, you can not be a 'normal' Githyanki. Unless things have changed profoundly in Ea since my parents left. Perhaps you could explain this mystery to me as I have answered your curiosity."

Ts'iri noticed that the other Gith were talking. She didn't catch any of the conversation so she wasn't sure if it was a private talk or not. With a shrug she decided to see if it was a talk she could get into. She knew so little about her past, any opportunity to learn more should be jumped on.

"You two are having quite a conversation. Is it private or can I join?"

[sblock=ooc] Perception to hear gith conversation (1d20-1=3) Didn't hear any of the conversation between Kama'zer and Mri'Thas.

Mri'Thas stoic face didn't change at all from the beginning of Kama'zer's story. He takes his hands out of his long sleeves. "I was born in a cadre, trained in the use of magic, and sent to Ea to fight the Githzerai to death, which I did proficiently, merciless, and with no truce. My cadre was slaughtered by the crusaders, years ago. I survived, barely.
Someone rescue me, and taught me the way of tolerance and peace. But these are not peaceful times"

His gaze fixed in the woman, he moves his fingers in a small circle. Two orbs of shiny orange forms before the wizard, like small suns. As the mage gather his hands in a mutual grip, both suns merge. "Under one sky" he says, testing; his hands ready to unleash a terrible spell. If Kama'zer was a githyanki spy undercover, he'll have to annihilate her swiftly... given that he was able to.

"By The One!" Kama'zer exclaims. "My parents used to say that when I was a child. 'May we all live... under one sky.'"

When Ts'iri approaches, Kama'zer nods agreement with Mri'Thas and with a slight smile turns to speak with the third Gith. "You may join us I believe. We were speaking about the Reconcilliation of the Gith and the rejoining of the Githyanki and the Githzerai into one race as they should be. What do you think on this subject?" Kama'zer asks boldly, intuitively understanding now that she and Mri'Thas would fight as one if Ts'iri launched into an attack over the subject matter.

Ts'iri cocks her head to the side and looks kind of confused at Kama'zer. "You have me at a bit of a disadvantage. I know of the Githyanki and the Githzerai but I have no idea why they aren't one race now. Not knowing why they broke apart, I have little to say about how to put them together. I take it from the way you asked that you think it's a good idea?"

Tyrion nods as the Githyanki speak,

"I have heard that phrase amongst those who seek the Mirror. Under one sky. I am glad you are all of like mind it is terrible when kin fights kin, and I hope you will forgive me saying it, but those who do not believe in your reconciliation are purported to be ruthless and cruel. I am not surprised to hear that none of you belong amongst their number."

The Eladrin smiles wanly and quickens his pace, ducking beneath a tree bough.

Kama'zer's brow furrows in confusion as Ts'iri answers. "How can you not know how they became seperate races? Where are you from that such knowledge was not ingrained in your upbringing? To give you the basic knowledge though, I will tell you that once they were just the Gith. After being enslaved by the mind flayers for generations, one female rose to power and helped throw off the shackles of slavery and fight back against the Illithids. Once they had beaten back their foe though, the one leader was lost and the schism that followed led two groups away from each other in hatred. Now the only thing that would stop Githyanki and Githzerai from killing one another is a mind flayer appearing. Then they would band together to defeat it before resuming their battle with one another."

"The Recconciliation is a movement from with both 'races' who are working toward unifying them once more and putting aside their differences. To be just 'Gith' once more. In fact, having found others whom I can trust to not attack me for it I tell you now that from this day forward I consider myself just a Gith, not half Githyanki and half Githzerai. Just a Gith. And it feels strangly liberating to say so out loud." she says with an actual smile upon her face. The first time any have seen a smile on her face outside of combat.

Turning to Tyrion, she asks, "I am glad to hear that you approve of my, or our, political leanings. But what is this Mirror you speak of? And those who seek it?"
