The Ebon Mirror: Dark Marks (Dunamin judging)

Kama'zer nods to Tyrion silently before walking over to the boatman. Stopping uncomfortably close to him, she stares hard and sizes the man up before speaking, "Sir, we have traveled and fought through many obstacles and some of us nearly died in order to rescue a woman from death or worse than death. Every moment of delay risks her health, her life, and perhaps the lives of... others... who oppose or delay us. Make the right choice here..." she finishes for now.

The man shifts uncomfortably ands peers uneasily up at Kama'zer,

"Easy their M'am, no need te be saying things we don't mean. Like I told the Eladrin I'm waitin' upon a lucrative deal. I'll be happy te take ye in three days, but until then ye'll have te wait."

Despite his attempted nonchalance the man is clearly unnerved by the Gith's threat. But he looks up and his eyes widen, his lips parting in wonder, he exhales softly and when he speaks his voice is passionate and rich,

"My Lady forgive my impertinence, but you are.... Beautiful, glorious, breathtaking. Forgive me that I cannot help you yet, but know that if this were any other time... In a heartbeat. Rigabold Korrigan is my name, and my boat the Silver Rooster."

He stares adoringly at Kama'zer for a moment and then flushes and stares back down at his plate.

Ts'iri walks though the doorway into the mill and starts to look around at the inner workings of the mill. It takes her little time to figure out that the water wheel is used to mill grain. She's impressed with it. It was only the waterwheel, some gears, some rope and the millstone but it had to take some effort to move such large parts into place and aligned properly. She completely ignores the scrawny men unless they try to stop her looking around or they talk to her directly.

The men do glance up at Ts'iri, and she hears one of them whisper Gith, other than that they appear content to let her look and continue playing. The dog twitches as if considering rising, but is apparently unable to spare the effort.

Though Ts'irir can easily comprehend the setups purpose she notes that there is no grain being ground currently.

To Callen's eye the Captain certainly begins to take Kama'zer seriously, though he does look to be someone for whom threats are a regular part of business. His subsequent "charm" almost seems inspired by the threat rather than Kama'zer's beauty - he does appear to be genuinely interested.

The Wizard also sees his eyes flicker to Ts'iri, clearly a man with an interest in womenfolk.

OOC: 2 Successes.

OOC: Go for it Pheonix, if its just you and Callen for a while you will get a much nicer chunk of experience. There really seems to have been a substantial slow down lately! I will email those in the party and see whats going on.

Heads up by the way folks my email has changed you can now reach me at SpaghettiGolem@Live.com - it has been changed in my profile to.

The githyanky looks puzzled at the captain and Kama'zer exchange. Although he had learned much in his time in this world, there was allways something to learn and analize. And Mri'Thas is a sonpgee of knowledge and quick at grasping meanings.

Insight Check: 24

OOC: Sorry, been ill for almost a week. I'll try to get up with all the other games.

Mri'thras detects a momentary flicker of emotion in Korrigan's eyes as Kama'zer speaks of rescueing a women. There is genuine regret in his voice as he replies, but apparently what he awaits is of great importance to him.

OOC: No worries Voda, just glad to hear from you! I hope we can go on at a decent pace.

Clarification, just to be clear folks when I say this check may be used one time I mean, once by the party. As this was unclear and it kinda works here two insight checks are fine and they both count as successes.
