The Ebon Mirror: Dark Marks (Dunamin judging)

"Perhaps if we left quickly, you could leave word for them to await your return and not be too long in coming back? And if you left word that it was an emergency in which you were helping to save a life, it might improve their opinion of you as well as convincing them to await your return shortly thereafter." Seeing from his reaction that this line of reasoning isn't going well, Kama'zer decides that being nice just isn't her thing. It doesn't seem to come as naturally to her as intimidation.

Diplomacy check (1d20 1=6) Yuck! Was thinking about throwing a bribe his way to help this, but it's so low I doubt I have money enough to get a bonus big enough to help! :.-(

Korrigan stifles a laugh as Kama'zer attempts to be diplomatic,

"You are nicer when you are nasty my dear, I've always liked my ladies with an edge. And the individuals I am dealing with aren't the sort to be impressed by acts of charity - or heroism for that matter."

"May be you should consider if this deal of yours is more important than your own life, human. You're pressing our patient beyond prudent limits." Mri'Thas says, menacingly. Sparks of cyan energy flow from his eyes.

Intimidate: 1d20-2 (ouch): 13

Korrigan bristles,

"Look pal, I don't have to take this kind of crap. You are trying to talk me into doing you a favor - something you'd do well to remember. Try sailing up this river without a knowledgeable pilot and ship."

OOC: 6 Successes 2 Failures

Ts'iri winces visibly then glares at the man. "They're doing such unspeakable things to her and you aren't willing to help?" She spits on the ground and looks away from Korrigan. "How can you be so despicable? Are mere coins more important than her life? I hope she haunts your dreams for the rest of your life." She moves a few feet away looking slightly ill and holding her head.

Bluff (1d20+7=15)

OCC: I'm not sure if it's my turn. If it isn't, Ts'iri will do this when it is.
OCC: I redid my roll since I rolled a d29 for the first! It came out the some though. :P

OOC: Yup counted it as a success, since you gave the info to the group albeit somewhat overtly - which was appropriate.

You need 1 more Success to wrap up, anyone can go ahead and act since this has been a rather diosorganized skill challenge .

ooc: wasnt sure because I didn't receive a second set of insight remarks after communicating the first result. Here is a third roll if it still works. insight v3 (1d20 7=26)

Callen concentrates on watching how the man reacts to Mri'Thas' threats seeing that they are not working as well. "Perhaps the urgency of Kama'zer's request has imparted the importance of our task beyond even the rescue of a maiden. I'd hope that her insistance is enough proof of the dire need of our crew."

Korrigan sighs heavily and rubs his brow,

"Right well I can see that you are not going to let my conscience fight alone. If we are to be going lets be going. But you'll all owe me a favor if I need one someday, nothing crazy of course - agreed?"

The Silver Rooster is faster than she looks, and the current will be with us - which is why I'll not likely be back in time for my engagement.

He stands and makes his way inside the small house, where the group can hear him speaking with a women. After a couple of minutes he emerges with the waitress hanging upon his arm. He takes her face in his hand and stares tenderly into her eyes smiling sadly as his eyes mist with the promise of tears.

OOC: All of you who participated gain 100xp.

"I shall miss you Lirra, more than you know, take care of your Ma, I'll be back within the week so don't worry."

The girl smiles blinking back tears and knotting the cloth of her apron as she wrings her hands.

"Be careful Korri I'll miss you, don't take any risks, please?"

Korrigan smiles leans in and kisses her gently upon the lips before brushing back a strand of hair and turning to the party.

"Well? No point dallying, you are all ready to travel, yes?"

"Thank you Captain Korrigan, we appreciate your change of heart and hope that we are in time and that you make it back with plenty of time to receive your charge. We are ready to leave immediately." replies Callen.
