I hate to engage in thread necromancy on my own thread (is that like, thread necrophilia or something? ewwww) but every time I see twenty doom-and-gloom subject lines in the general forum I have the urge to create a silly thread like this. So I thought I'd save myself the trouble and just resurrect this one.
Cheer up, nerds. Forums are echo chambers and it's easy to get overwhelmed by all the signs of the end that people read in the tea leaves. In fact, we don't have very much concrete news at all other than an impromptu schedule reshuffling, so it's probably a little too early to bury 4e and start writing the eulogy for D&D.
On the other hand, even a Wal-mart hobo prophet is right twice a day. Maybe this is THE END OF D&D AS WE KNOW IT. If so, hey, I don't know about you but I've still got my dice, my books and a lot of imagination*.
Anyway, I should be good for a while. You?
