...our authentic three-legged Piratecat has been missing for three days.
I am so sorry to hear that Kev. Don't give up hope. The cat that we had when we lived in your area disappeared shortly after we moved to New Hampshire, and we thought her lost. Two years later we saw her at a neighbor's house, where she had chosen to live instead (as the only cat rather than 1 of 3). We also thought we lost our C.J. kitty two years ago, but we found her three weeks later shut in an old van that Kris used for wool storage. She was a lot thiner but still alive, and within a week was back to her old self. Cats do come back, hang in there.

This is the kind of thread I look forward to all the time.... ya can't be depressed when you read stuff like this (although the pic of the REALLY hairy guy will give me nightmares for years ;) ).

Seriously, I'm so sorry about you're cat being AWOL P. Kitty. I can't even think about what I'd do if my cat ran off. Luckily, we're pretty inseperable (its pretty sad, really ;) ). However, we are not as bad as my parent's dog, Max the Clingy Pitbull. This dog barks to get both my parents in the same room because he likes everyone to be together. Better yet, one morning, he was outside to use his "facilites" (there's a cable hooked to a tree by the back door), when he some how unhooked himself, pushed the back door open, and went to sit in the hallway outside the bathroom and watch my Mom get ready for work.
The Moral? Just spoil your pets really, REALLY rotten and they'll never leave. ;) Heck, I know I wouldn't (especially when it's raining ;) ).

WizarDru, couldn't see your pic. Was it this guy?

P.S. I saw this with my own eyes. eep.
