Pantera is the only one I regret not going to. They played here a few times and I never went but had chancesI really couldn’t say which were better, the big shows or the small ones. I had a lot of luck with both.

YES, they make senseZ-Coil equipped guitars
I think that’s a way to maintain brand identity. You can’t simply buy a Squier or Epi body and swap out some parts to DIY yourself a Fender or Gibby.Youd think that brands such as Gibson/Epiphone or Fender/Squier would use interchangeable parts, but IME they don't. Electronics I get but a bridge plate. I really think that those saddles were made for a bridge plate with a slightly different bolt pattern, which is why that flared out.
Pantera was one of those bands I had a love hate relationship with- mostly because of Anselmo’s white power antics & certain lyrics.Pantera is the only one I regret not going to. They played here a few times and I never went but had chances
Some you can some you cant. Thats why I dont try certain things which you would have to go Eddie Van Halen on.I think that’s a way to maintain brand identity. You can’t simply buy a Squier or Epi body and swap out some parts to DIY yourself a Fender or Gibby.
They played Darien Lake in the mid 90s. Phil saw a security guard messing with some kid in the audience and hit him in the head with his microphone and got into a fight with him. He got arrested and had to come back for court. I cant remember what he was convicted for, but seem to recall it being a somewhat drawn out process.Pantera was one of those bands I had a love hate relationship with- mostly because of Anselmo’s white power antics & certain lyrics.
I had soooo many chances to see them- what with them being Dallas locals- but each time I considered it, Phil would do/say something really stupid.
And it’s such a damn shame! There’s a fair number of their songs I love to sing. And I know Dimebag got a lot of flak for his tone in some circles, but to me, it seemed to be appropriate to the songs.
I’ve never been a real fan of DiFranco’s music, but I’m a fan of her work lifting up other musicians. She’s definitely good people. Great work ethic.I went to go see my friends Rush tribute band last night. Glad I did, it was awesome. The venue was an old church in downtown Buffalo called Babeville that Ani DiFranco bought, renovated and turned into a place to play music.
I don't think I've ever heard any of her music. I don't remember any of her singles being played on the radio. Which seems odd being from Buffalo I would think they would play at least some. Especially when there was that influx of female singer/songwriters in the second half of the 90s. I must've at some point but if I did, it didn't leave a lasting impression, nor do I know anyone that likes her music either. She has to be doing something right; after Googling her, she's put out 20 records and is worth ~$5 million. Must be a very niche fan base.I’ve never been a real fan of DiFranco’s music, but I’m a fan of her work lifting up other musicians. She’s definitely good people. Great work ethic.
