D&D 5E The Fall of Blackmoor (IC)

OOC:Sure, why not? JustinCase/DinDin: I think he's thinking more along the lines of becoming someone different than he's been, somehow, permanently. Unless you'd really like me to attempt to rob your character? I guess it's one way to begin interaction with other PCs.
Just in case the morning calls for my continued stealthiness:
Stealth roll: [roll0]

991 A.S. (After Shattering), 19th Day of Spring Dawning (4th month)

OOC: Everyone please deduct gp for your lifestyle expenses if you haven't already. 0 for Wretched, 1 sp for Squalid, 2 sp for Poor, 1 gp for Modest, 2 gp for Comfortable, 4 gp for Wealthy, and at least 10 gp for Aristocratic.

Andus and five of the recruits are all in the practice yard of the garrison when Gareth, Ngoya, Jeremiah, and Jacobim arrive. The recruits are busy packing up a wagon with supplies while Andus is getting some last minute instructions from Lattimer.

Kini, meanwhile, is expertly hidden in the ditch near the garrison with a perfect view of the proceedings.

Lattimer moves to greet the group, leaving Andus to inventory the supplies, "Any questions before you head out?"

OOC: The group has the following supplies.

1 Wagon with a draft horse
2 weeks of feed for the horse
140 days of rations (enough for ten people for 2 weeks)
4 barrels of water (enough for ten people for 2 weeks with a little extra)
500 arrows (the recruits and Andus all have longbows)
10 bedrolls
10 blankets
2 buckets
20 candles
1 chest (currently empty)
1 hooded lantern
1 lock (for the chest)
10 mess kits
10 flasks of oil (for the lantern)
50 feet of hempen rope
10 sacks (currently empty)
1 tinderbox
10 torches
10 waterskins

Ngoya

Ngoya smiles at Lattimer. "No questions Lattimer, but hopefully we will see you again upon our return." Moving over to the wagon she dumps her pack into the back after removing her waterskin and a few peices of food.

Stringing her bow she walks over to Andus. "I will scout ahead, I should be no further than shouting distance." she smiles wryly at that. "I will report back every two hours or sooner if I have anything to report."

Nodding to the others she positions herself at the front of the wagon, ready to start once they leave Blackmoor.

Kini
Abandoning his original plan to just observe Gareth quietly, Kini made a flash decision: "I need to be on that wagon". He chose his moment and snuck onto it, hiding among and under the piles of provisions.

OOC: Probably a dumb idea on Kini's part, but sounded like the most fun thing to try to do under the circumstances. By the way, went shopping before showing up in the ditch and bought a few more daggers. Also, I still have my 5 days rations if that becomes an issue - I assume that poor upkeep in town does not require consuming rations. OK, here goes:
Stealth check to sneak onto wagon: [roll0]

OOC: Everyone check their Passive Perception. If its greater than 15 your character will notice Kini. Otherwise, Andus will be making an active Perception check (since he is inventorying the wagon) on my next full update. If he fails that, Kini will be along for the ride unnoticed at least until the group leaves the city.

Din Din also deposits his bag in the wagon, and nods to Lattimer. "No questions from me, chap. I'm ready to go." Dressed in his leather armor and using his wooden quarterstaff as a makeshift walking stick, the warlock in his guise as Gareth Silvertongue appears less formal than the day before. A light crossbow hangs from a hook on his belt, and a dagger is tucked away on his other hip. A quiver of bolts is slung over his shoulder and a crooked wooden wand is within easy reach next to his dagger.

OOC: Passive Perception is 10, so Din Din does not notice Kini.

Jacobim
OOC: Passive Perception is 13, so Jacobim does not notice Kini.

Jacobim heads towards the wagon and sits confortably next to Din Din/Gareth " Good morning to you Sir" he says with a formal smile.

Jeremiah

Jeremiah returns to the recruits and stays the night near them to make sure he doesn't get left behind like that one time he was told to show up the next morning at midday only to find out the group he was supposed to travel with had left at dawn.

He ate a cold breakfast from his rations and geared up to leave with the others when the wagon was ready to go.

OOC: Passive Perception is 12 for Jeremiah, so he sees nothing suspicious!
