Precisely the same, here. Initially, I was extremely sceptical about 3e, but I then (i.e., after reading through a gaming friend's 3.0 PHB) went out and bought the 3.5 books (because they were just coming out - otherwise it would've been 3.0 to start with.)DaveMage said:When I first flipped through the 3.0 PHB, I was enthralled.

Fifth Element said:To each his own, but you should consider playing the game before judging it. I doubt "flipping through" 3.5 would give you much of an impression either.
