Yup, me too. But 3.75 will get superb suport from Pathfinder. Those Paizo books are superb. I'm glad people have alternatives.

Sadly, I don't think I find Pathfinder all that appealing.

I've been reading them as part of my ENnies reading. The campaign materials are shockingly well put together, and I love how they've changed monsters.

Personally, my next campaign will be 4e (I have less than ten sessions in my holy-crap-it's-been-running-for-sixteen-years campaign.) But I'm glad that there are quality options for people who aren't planning to switch.

PC - Did you playtest 4E? I know Henry did, and a couple other mods I think. But it would seem a no-brainer for WotC to have involved you and your group. I also believe you playtested 3E, no?

We did playtest 3e. Not 4e, though, much to my chagrin (and anguished begging to everyone I know at WotC, including someone who will remain nameless but whose name rhymes with Rott Scouse.) Then that bastard Jonrog asks on his blog "who's a screenwriter/comic author have to sleep with to playtest?" and BANG! He's in.

It's damn cold out here.

But I got the books a little early, and I've run a couple of games. We've had nothing but ridiculous amounts of fun. I can work with that.

I'll admit....their Pathfinder books seem really cool. I've checked several of them out at the shop, and they're really well done. A mix of adventure and sourcebook in every one, and I really like many of the sourcebook style materials they've put into them. They've done a really fantastic job. I was hesitant at first, but now that I'm pretty sure that I am unlikely to move to the new edition, I might have to pick them up. They'll help give me material to carry me through to the next edition (assuming my 3E group stays together).

If you're into 3.5 and Dragonlance, boy do we have a lot of books you can pick up from us.

Cheers,
Cam

Cam, I thought that MWP wasn't allowed to continue selling the books past the end of January or something?

Nor I. When I saw that first level clerics can suddenly heal an entire villiage with one use of turn undead, I quit following Pathfinder.

Hmm.. you might want to consider actually looking at the real Pathfinder rules then, since what you've described isn't Pathfinder at all.

What you've basically said is the same as saying "When I saw that 1st level characters can kill Balors in one hit, I quit following 4e."
If I was that misunderstanding of the rules, I'd expect people to call me on it and ask me to look a second time and get it right before passing judgment.
